It’s what we’ve all been waiting for the first weekly review of the year. Round 1 is over and the fun is about to begin.  Round 2 brings about the first of our head to head matches, with all teams in with an equal shot of walking away with the newly created and highly coveted Division 1 Avatar. This will be released later on in the season once some final touches have been made to it.

Round 1 of the AFL season and subsequent Fantasy Football brought many of the emotions of life to the fore. Anticipation, excitement, self-doubt, fear, happiness, heartbreak and many others.  While some players managed to get rookies right, others failed; while some got premiums right, others failed; those who got both wrong, well better luck next year. For those of you that were hit by injuries (Rocky AND/OR Sidebottom) good luck in picking the correct replacement and just hope history doesn't repeat itself again next week.
Reviews and previews of all matches will start next week once we have started the “Real Stuff’ and we have more to discuss.

Ranked 81st league, well done everyone. Ive come firing out of the blocks to take 1st on the ladder, lets see how long it lasts haha if im still there next week ill be absolutely rapt  ;D

What a difference a week can make, after looking at a par score of 2000 in round 1, we now all of a sudden look at 2200 to be competitive, and even then it wasn’t a guaranteed win. It just goes to show that to succeed in this league you are going to need consistently strong scores, good trades choices at the right time and most importantly a bit of luck.
We do need to say a big congratulations to everyone for making jumping this league into the top 100 in league ranks. Currently sitting rank 81. Let’s get it into the top 50 this week.

The lowest scoring team In Fantasy Addicts is looking to upset Tiger of Old. Acrucial match to try to not fall 2 games behind the leaders.

Cousins Coke n Ice will need to bounce back after a 17 point loss last time out while tailspower is looking to make it 2 straight wins.

Mountalizians F.C vs Frogjumper
A matchup between 2 winners from last round. Mountalizians goes in deserved favourites after a massive 2303 last week.

Spinach vs Big Mac's Army
The lowest scoring winner comes up against the highest scoring loser from last week. Spinach really needs to turn the tables and get on the board. Another loss could dent the confidence.


There has been a few changes to the Awards for this year. Firstly All Australian will not be presented as there is only 1 league. FF medal will still run as planned. I got lucky award will go to the player with the least amount of points against. But we all know that the most coveted will be the champion and premiers awards.
