Its Grand final time, the week all teams were hoping they would be still alive for, but only 2 still live. Who will be victorious could come down to an inspired captain choice, a bit of luck, or even the ability to cover the outs of Fyfe and Hodge. See below for an preview of the final matchup. League rank has bounced back after a few slow weeks to sit just outside the top 100 at 105. With only 2 weeks left, the top 100 is well within grasp.  The overall point’s ladder is still ever changing with only 104 points separating the top 3 teams. With 2 rounds to go who will gain the upper hand .

In the major finals Frogjumper leapt into the GF with a 99 point win of WingardiumLobbeosa ending his finals run. Frogjumper will face the season’s Premier - FC Hawkstone in the big dance after he managed to sneak a 50 point win over fellow top 3 competitor Corkascrew.

In the consolation finals, Dos Destroyers won a humdinger of a matchup by 6 points over the Terrifying Glue. In the other Matchup Tiger of Old scored a massive 2530 to smash Tailspower by a whopping 441 points.

Overall, a very tough match to pick on paper. FC HAWKSTONE has led all year in the ladders, but has fallen to Frogjumper in both encounters this season. The form sees Frogjumper slightly ahead 3 to 2 however the minuscule differences in the scores means that this one could go either way. Can the frog keep the wood on the Hawk, or will the hawk bounce back and have frog for dinner.
To add spice to the matchup Frogjumper also knocked FC HAWKSTONE out of another league semi last week.

I dare you to pick a winner in this match. Dos has had a poor run after his amazing start to the year. Falling outside the top 8 by the time finals rolled around. The head to head was split 1 â€" 1 during the season with Tiger of Old sneaking a win in round 17, Dos got revenge in the first week of finals to take advantage of the double chance. On form barring Tiger of Olds poor first week of finals he has consistently been the higher scoring team and appears to be going from strength to strength in finals.

After 17 rounds and finals the dust has settled with Frogjumper being crowned our champion. Congratulations to our champion in what was an incredibly tough league that had 4-5 teams worthy of taking home the crown. Only 1 week remains for the SC coaches, how many will be abl to cover the Lyon & Scott resting week.
Just like a yoyo our league rank has once again dropped to 116th spot and will need a massive jump start to get into the top 100 for the year.
The overall point’s ladder continues to be a 3 horse race, as it has for most of the year. However corkascrew managed to put a 250 point gap between himself and his rivals last week. Unless something crazy happens this week we should have out points champion.

The big dance saw the continuation of Frogjumpers form come to the fore getting a 97 point win over FC Hawkstone. It was a bittersweet pill to swallow for the Hawks after being the better overall team all year, but falling at the final hurdle against his bogey team.

In the consolation finals, Dos Destroyer's put the disappointment of missing the top 8 by taking home the consolation trophy. It was a poor showing from Tiger Of Old who had an off day on the most important weekend of the year.
Dos Destroyers  - "Thankyou all, while winning the consolation trophy isn't the major final, it is a good recognition of the inconsistent but good year i have had. Well done to Tiger of Old on the good season, im sure the rivalry will last well into the future."
Tiger of Old - "It was disappointing to not be able to take home the prize for the fans, but Dos was just too good on the day. This loss has just made me more hungry to make the top 8 next year and take home the major prize."

And the fat lady has sung, what a rollercoaster of a season we have seen, early season leaders falling by the wayside only to bounce back. A 3 horse race for the points honours all year for all 3 only to be upstaged by a fast finishing dark horse. Not to mention the injuries, injuries, injuries.
COntratulations to Spinach for taking home the FF medal and FC Hawkstone for being able to hold off the evry fast finishing Spinach to clinch the overall points crown.
