First Draft, would love to know your thoughts.

Def: Smith, Birchall, Kelly, Newnes, Yeo, Waters (Goddard, Newman)

Mid: Ablett, Selwood, Liberatore, Steven, Rich, Van Berlo, Heeney, Freeman (Boekhorst, Steele, Krakouer)

Ruck: Naitanui, Leuenberger (Cox)

Fwd: Deledio, Goddard, Swan, Mitchell, Bellchambers, Clark, (Hogan, Daniel)

Plenty of DPP options for both the forwards and the ruck, 18K remaining. Maybe too many rookie Mids, but i'm hpoing that at least two of the 5 will get game time.

nas

Maybe remove Cox & get Read, better with Sunday games.

Firstly I'd find a replacement for J.kelly down back, not the sort of scoring player you want. Shaw or Hibberd good replacements hurn if you can't afford that. I'd downgrade yeo to someone around 150k as a placeholder.
Like to see a little more spent in the mids. Downgrade rich to Biggs/Newton who should score similarly and use the cash you have to upgrade Steven to dependlebury. You should still have 80k or so to do what you like.

Top class team though mate!

Don't mind this team at all. Im not sold on Leuy but you've got good cover on all lines, ruck MPP and a few good value picks that could work out

Some pretty risky picks there newnes yeo waters. Libba no 1 tag. Steven possibly carrying an injury. Rich. Nic nat and leuey. I like Mitchell but an element of risk and tbc. If that all works out then you will be laughing.

Scratch that for now thought I read something about it today on another site but can't find it now so could be BS

A few interesting players, a couple I really like and a couple I am not sure on.

The one that worries me the most is Kelly with his age. The Geelong boys can't keep defying father time so if I was to take a punt on a Geelong defender it would probably be Harry Taylor. I would maybe only take a punt on one of Yeo or Newnes. I am not a huge fan of Yeo's from when he was at the Lions so I don't think he will be able to turn into a 90+ ppg player. I think there are a couple around his price and cheaper that are more calculated risks but in terms of price it tough.

I have a pretty big man crush on Tom Mitchell. If he can get into the side he could easily average high 90's. Libba could be a huge POD and I really like Jack Steven if he is healthy. He is 50k cheaper then Swallow and they should average about the same, it is just the bye that is a killer but you have a nice spread.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I tend to agree on Yeo, I will give him a chance in the NAB cup and see how he goes, as for Newnes, I think he will take the next step this year and is touted for more midfield time, so I'm keen to stick with him.

Might have a look at a replacement for Kelly, doesn't seem to be getting much love down back.

Good structure and some dolid premo and good value risky picks yoo.
Keeping my eye on Yeo in the NAB cup.
Not a fan of belly but i understand the choice for cover.

keep up the good work and good luck

if you get a chance check out my team

I think your a gun premo short in the mids.

Rich to a rookie priced player and Steven to a gun premo would strengthen your side a lot.

The defence is stacked  :o The Kelly pick is interesting, haven't seen him in many teams. Do you think if the cats are pressing for top 4 again that he will play every week? Alternatively if they drop off the cliff (doubtful) will they play kids?

I think there is a bit too muchrisk thathe won't play each week.
