I've had him pencilled in ever since it became clear he wasn't going to play many games last year. Thus, he has been in every iteration of my team so far this year. At this stage, I can't see myself not picking him.

Lol explain that logic.

I am assuming it would be price related. Mitchell is a gun and there is no disputing that, so if he was relatively cheap this year he was one to pounce on

honza

I'm not going near him, again. If you get over 50 possessions in a seconds game and still don't get selected, it means something's wrong.

Mat0369

It means you have Kennedy, Jack and Hanners ahead of you. He also lacks pace and that is why guys like Cunningham were getting a gig ahead of him, with all the bulls the Swans have they need outside run.

He's not that cheap if he was under 300k and has a good nab cup I might consider, but surely he is a massive gamble. At this stage.

Mat0369

I probably won't touch him due to some of the other guys that are now forwards and the fact he has never been able to go injury free through a season. The second part was the main reason I didn't want Carlton to give up the farm to get him even though I love him as a player. If I am going to go with injury prone players I would rather fork out the cash and pick Harley

he has never had a full preseason so if he gets through this one it's a pretty good sign

He still has to show that he can adapt and work well with the Sydney game plan to get consistent games.

It still won't convince me until he actually plays a season out.

Hmm, Mitchell huh?  Resume stinks!  Send in the next applicant, would you?

Ricochet

The only reason TMitch didn't play much last year was due to fitness. His ankle was shot and fitness wasn't there to slot straight back in. If he gets through this preseason then lookout, he'll have a ripper year
