Only 21 I think and he has proved that he can get lots of the pill if he is in the team round 1 very tempting

The only reason TMitch didn't play much last year was due to fitness. His ankle was shot and fitness wasn't there to slot straight back in. If he gets through this preseason then lookout, he'll have a ripper year

He burn't me pretty bad last year so it's a no atm, re-evaluate after R2 of the season proper

its not the worst idea, but at his price you will have to be downgrading a premo to him which will be the issue.

Other way round you could downgrade the hottest two rookies?

What rounds was Mitchell actually out injured?
He played 6 AFL games and 12 NEAFL games so didn't actually miss that much footy.
I know he wasn't 100% but he put in some massive NEAFL performances and still couldn't break into the seniors.
Is there actually a regular spot in the 22 for him?

The guy is best 22, No doubt when fit. Guys like Lloyd, Heeney, BJack(maybe) will all make way for him if he is fit.

The biggest sign is that he turned down a good offer from Carlton..that speaks volumes, if fully fit+ a full preseason he is a fwd lock.

So should push into the 22 now that he's injury free and assuming he addressed his fitness issues.
But where does he play? he's a ball magnet but how much mid time does he get in Sudneys midfield?

The talk is he is training with the forward group. I would think that is where is going to spend most of his time, not sure if he is training to be a fwd tagger (since Smith owns that role) or a read the pack fwd, since McGlynn is spending more time in the mids. Or as a thought just popped into my head, the 'slingshot' receiver since both Rohan and Jetta are looking at time in defense?
