Anyone thought about him ?

Much prefer Jack Steven in that range.

Ricochet

Going to be a star but would rather go up to a proven premo or down to NVB/Rich then take a punt on him at that price

LF

Yep he will be a star but I reckon he is not just there yet great pick for a draft team tho.
Yeah would either drop him to a rook or grab one of the other value mids under $300k like NVB etc

AaronKirk

I will be watching him closely. If he improves his TOG once the season starts he could well dramatically improve toward a 105+ average.

Definitely won't start him, but he is one to watch.

Can't see him improving too much, went at 70% last year. Personally think Neale will become very very fantasy relevant in Mundy's last year/when he retires.

Very different players though... I don't think Neale will ever become a super promo mid. Always around the 100 mark. Solid player, never brilliant

Lachie Neale is/will be Jobe Watson elite. Very highly rated internally at Freo.

Just to clarify what I meant. When Mundy enters the end of his career, Neale will get more responsibility/time inside. Wasn't comparing him to Mundy as a player

AaronKirk

Last season he had 68.8% TOG and averaged 87

If he went to 75% TOG he would go to 94 average 80% to 101 and so on.

Also with natural improvement you could also see his disposals per TOG also improve as well (this has improved in each season he has played) could push the improvement higher.

To get up to 80% he'll basically need to be a top 3-4 mid. And he's a year or two off that

Not sure that's exactly how it works irl...

Alright do we jump on or not ...

This guy has been in my afl fantasy team for a while ... But now I am
Taking notice for sc

We all must be considering him surely

Grufflez

His price is so awkward though, and it's hard to tell if he can reach keeper status or will he be stuck in that 100-105 range i am considering but NAB is such BS it might be safer to pay that bit more for a Griffen or Swallow.

RaisyDaisy

I could be wrong but I think Freo rested a few today

Freo at full strength, I don't think he averages enough
