Hey MS. Loving every pick. You have showed me that by going pearce > Whitecross that i'll only lose maybe 5 points in ave but whitey has better JS and it also enables me to get stronger rookies that would have outscored the ones i had and make alot more money a lot quicker. Great Team. I am thinking that u should perhaps go goldy > Maric/Minson and then try and get Gray in.
Cheers mate!
Yeah im actually thinking Hibberd>Lumumba then Franklin to Gray but I see them averaging about the same so idk for now!

Like that idea alot. Think about it this way. Gray is a must have by season end. You currently have 3 keepers and 3 rookies so even if u upgrade a rookie to him it wont be in the first 7-8 weeks or u will have to paint the fence with another premo. Chances are Franklin will drop to 450ish and will be an easy upgrade as Salem will definitely make u alot.
Salem has highly priced for a rookie. He has had one good preseason game albeit against Bulldogs so you can't be be jumping the gun just yet.  I think he will chuck in a few poor scores against good opposition. Considering he has Swans, Hawks, Freo, Port, Geelong, Suns who will all be looking for top four spots I can see him chucking in a few sub 50 scores
I've been on Salem since day one so I'm not jumping on him like everyone else!!

Franklin and Hibberd
Gray and Lumumba

It's so hard!

I think that Gray and Lumumba is the way to go as i have mentioned above but also because of your bye issues with 15 in week 12 this will go to 13 and 12 in the respective weeks.

Really MS Gray is quality and will continue to avg 110+,  Franklin is too up and down.  Trade up to him during a downer.
Lumumba should continue to get mid time and looks good for 90-95.    Franklin (100-105), HIBBERS (90-95)  so matter of relibility with Gray also able to pump out big ones.

BTW   based on what i have seen of swan he will struggle to avg 90-95 and needs to be replaced.   Bont will outscore him and is mid.fwd

Cheers Crowls.
My new team looks like this!

TEAM NAME: The SuperCoach 2.0
DEF: K. Simpson, H. Shaw, J. Newnes, H. Lumumba, N. Brown, J. Hamling (K. McIntosh, A. Saad)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, N. Fyfe, J. Selwood, C. Ward, J. Anderson, I. Heeney, B. Boekhorst (A. Vandenberg, C. Ellis-Yolmen, T. Miller)
RUC: T. Goldstein, N. Naitanui (T. Nankervis)
FWD: R. Gray, D. Martin, D. Swan, C. Salem, M. Clark, J. Hogan (T. Lamb, K. Lambert)
CASH LEFT: $68,300

Have decided that going cheaper in the rookies looks like the way to go!
But I have left some money over incase not all goes to plan!
This is pretty close to a completely new team so would love everyones thoughts on it.
bye structure: 8/10/12

I am locking in Swan one of the only players that haven't left my team at all.

Great looking team MS.
Hard to improve on it and backline is a great mix.   This year I just cannot get on the Swan bandwagon.  I know he is good enought to avg 110+ and Woods mids are short of skills but Swannie looks like he playing for the money and not fun.

Bontempelli is super impressive and would not suprise to see this kid avg 110+ this year.    Tall, runs, marks, break tackles, gets contested ball,  just a magic looking player to watch.    I have my money on Bonts outscoring the old tattoo pig this year.

PS So you are backing GAJ to perform and injury not an issue.   I figure I will be getting Gaj in after 6 rounds when his price has dropped 100-150K after averaging only 100-110 for 5 weeks as mainly a forward.    Of course he can avg 4-5 goals a game based up there as well.    My risk to take.

Yeah that's fair enough but I see Bonts getting tagged Alot along side with Macrae and I don't know how he will cope!
But thanks for you thoughts man!

Good point about the tag as not many other options at Doggies and every coach will have seen what he can do.   I have to admit I see Bonts as a Pendlebury type and expect him to be as good if not better than Pendles by end of career.     Why do you like Swan so much?

465k for a guy that could easily go 110ish?
That's why I like him so much!
He had a bad game last night and still got 88

Where should l spend the money guys?
Happy with all my premiums but really don't like having that much money wasted :-[

Great team, I would just sit on it until the rd 1 teams are named.
With the Monday game even if named I think Anderson is too much of a vest risk so I would look at turning him into a Newton/Crisp. You could probably put Heeney into that category as well.

The other option is to turn one of you back rookies into a Goodes/MacMillan/Jaksch

That's something to think about!
I think if Goodes is upgraded we should lock him in!
He can easily go 80+ and will save our back problems a bit.
Then Anderson to Cripps!

Samsturmfels

great team
looking at your bye structure only premo's Simpson and Ward will be missing in rd 12. What are your thoughts on this?

Hawker_08

G'day MS. I too have made a version without Ablett and I have decided to get Steven in for him. The reason i have done this is so that by round 6-7 i can go Steven > Ablett and hope it will only cost me 150k. I am wondering what your thoughts are on this and how you are going to get Ablett in, presuming u wont trade a keeper mid. Really Nice Team.

Bully

Lambert is looking iffy at the moment.
