That midfield is insanely strong, but in doing so you're relying on a lot of rookies to line up rd1 elsewhere

Strong looking side :)

Yeah, I doubt there will be many back line rookies so I went strong there and think my starting mids will deffs play! I'm hoping that there will be a plethora of forward line rookies!
Obviously a lot will depend on the rookies!
For now I'm happy with my team :)

Looks really good. I'd say to sit on it 'til the Nab but we all know you will change it another 53 times  ;) :P I tried to get 5 premium mids in but couldn't get it done, good to see that you found a way

Yeah I will have a completely different team tomorrow :P
But I always seem to come back to this team or something similar.
Cheers Best of luck.

Hey MS. Love the backline. Very similar to mine only dif is Simmo > Birchall
Mids are awesome. Love it.
Rucks are strong. Injury prone but i think nic nat will take it to another level and be top 5 this year. Only difference is i have leuy and u have kreuzer.
Forwards u have 3 premos which is good. 3 rookies though is a bit iffy

I suggest:

Simmo (we all remember the 30's dont we) > Hurn/Birchall (no injuries to hawks and addition of frawley means running free. His deadly accuracy will see him rise to the heights of 2013.
Rockliff/Pendles/Fyfe > Watson/Griffen/A Swallow/Cotchin etc.
Option 1: Lavarde in mid for Neal-Bullen. Clark > TBC for ruck cover and +20-on to a rookie and Nankervis > Read/Cox
Option 2: Get Salem, Saad, Membery, Cockatoo, Petracca, Biggs, Brayshaw etc to guarantee JS and more points.

Just some suggestions team is great the way it is. Good Job

Need more strength up forward... Top 10 mids harder to predict so start with the best 4, or 3 and favourite pod and strengthen everywhere else. Good to see 13 top 10's (position wise)

Thanks mate!
I have taken it on board and I'm really looking at Simpson>Birchall as he will push 100 this year as he won't be playing a lock down role.
Think I'm going to stay strong in the mids though.
Both options are worth considering!

Thanks mate!

I think I have 5 of the 10 ten ones from the get go.
I think going weak in the forward line is the way to go personally as I think all of my picks can play consistently and score well!
I will try out that strategy.

Think you should always leave 50k plus over at this stage for rookies espescially in a team like this with my forward line stacked with rookies.

Thank you guys for your thoughts.

Keep them coming.

Good team MS wild midfield I like , the only line that looks vulnerable is the FWD line but would sit on that for now you may have to downgrade one of your mids to fix it but rookies and cheapies are going to be a guessing game till round 1 teams are announced  ;)

Yeah I really like this team and think Hogan, Clark and Daniel will get up and think Laverde has a good chance of playing. Not sure on Lambert, Steele and Krak though.
I will probably end up with a completely different team but for now I think it is good enough to sit on :)

PICCOLLO

Strong team.  There's the obvious forward issues previously mentioned but the fwd line is the place to start thin I'd say. I think Kreuzer is likely to be played as a fwd isn't he? Would you pick him if that's where you knew he'd primarily play?

With the multiplyer on clutch SC points being decreased I'm wondering about Fyfe this year. Absolute gun but misses a few games and maybe a decreased output because of change in rules?

Changing to Birchall a good move I think.

I also love how you went bang and picked the 3 best midfielders in the comp. Good for VC loop flexibility and monster scores. You know what you are getting with Rocky, Pendles and Gaz.
