Ricochet

Won't be 100% come RD1 so certainly not worth the selection

No mid pricers in the mids. No thanks
Not going near Tom Mitchell?

As a forward possibly, but not as a mid

Personally not touching Tom Mitchell. IMO won't be a top 10 forward, and still not convinced he is a lock in the swans side.

Fair enough. From memory he was the 1st emergency in each of the Swans finals last year but might be wrong. Potential is there to make some coin early then upgrade to a top 6 forward.

Go Dons!

WEST Coast received a boost in a lead-up to the NAB Challenge with key duo Scott Selwood and Jack Darling back running after long injury lay-offs.

Neither man participated in the main drills during the Eagles' open training session at Patersons Stadium on Wednesday, but Selwood ran well as he lifted the intensity following ankle surgery prior to Christmas.

The 2012 best and fairest winner appears likely to participate in the latter stages of the NAB Challenge.

He had an awfully good bye for a mid stepping stone... With guys like Steven and Crouch, if they don't work out, copping their bye is just rubbing it in the face. Being able to trade Scooter out after the second bye to a plethora of premiums is quite handy. Still a no from me, but can understand the temptation.

Anyone willing to punt after one game and a 117? Was carrying an ankle all last year which supposedly was the reason for his awful scores. Is he likely to do a lot of run-with roles even if fit Eagles fans?

I'm thinking of having a couple of players in the hope they take off but also someone that can be sacrificed to get Ablett if needed. With cash in the bank.

I had him in my team at the start of the pre-season however when I heard he wasn't running until Feb that made me take him out. A really good player that could push a 100-105 average but lack of pre-season is what has him out at the moment

Didn't Simpson recently say Selwood would be tagging again this year? Can't remember where I read it

Yeah, same.

With the structure Im going with atm I cant really see him making his way back into my team.

Simmo said he'd continue the run-with role. Shame, if Hutchy was fit then Scoot could be freed up. As is though, I think we'll continue some extreme inconsistency from SSelwood.

To be fair, he still accumulates a lot of ball whilst tagging.

He's far from the worst pick and I definitely think he'll be up around that 100 mark again this year, but I'd probably prefer Steven at a similar price.
