Even with all the debate on midpricers in the midfield he doesn't even seem close to full training.

They are at mid 5, 6 and 7. It's a stronger midfield than most people are going for at the moment, going 4 premos, NVB/Rich and Rookies.

How are you going to generate cash if the only decent rookies are in the mids and forward.

Cannot go too weak forward because of all the mid/fwd DPP's

Selwood is worth the extra coin compared to Rich. One has averaged close to 105 twice and is a good stepping stone potential mid 9 while the other has had a best average of 90 otherwise looks to be around the 85 mark based on his career so far.

It has surprised me Selwood has had the injury issues in the offseason. He ended up playing the last game of the season so I would have figured that his preparation would not have been impeded. I read he went for a clean up on the ankle around Christmas so for him still not to be training that is a worry.

It was heartening to see Jack Darling, Scott Selwood and Mark Hutchings on the track, albeit focusing on some specific rehabilitation work away from the main group.
