2015 first draft. pumped!

it's that time of the year again. im bloody pumped! top 3,000 again last year but i want better! this is my first attempt and i would love to hear what everyone thinks.

B: Hibberd, Birchall, Walker, Newnes, Waters, Goddard (Rainbow, Fuller)
M: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Beams, NVB, Cockatoo, Boekhorst, Vandenberg (Laverde, Freeman, Krakouer)
R: Naitanui, Kreuzer (Naismith)
F: Gray, Goddard, Martin, Swan, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Daniel)

Rookies obviously place holders for now, but ive tried to pick the most relative ones. Rucks are a real pain in the ass this year. Dunno what to do. Too much money has to be used in order to find backup. Might just risk it! Gray is expensive and might not start him but i cant see much else. Maybe T.Mitch but who knows. Bring on the NAB!

Heavy defence which is a positive. I do like the midfield beams and Selwood if you can believe it are somewhat POD's well beams is.
Rucks are solid. Forwards are top class. Worried about Salem's scoring potential, really need 65+ at that price and the sub (if he's a placeholder forget that last comment!) nice work mate

Cant believe beams and selwood are pod's, will both easily be top 10 IMO. NN at R1 has me slightly worried, but im backing him in. I agree re salem, bit of a risk but should play most games and is relatively cheap. Needs to avoid sub and lift though, got class.

I'd keep an eye out on Walker. His knee is taking longer to heal but I think he should be good for Round 1 (the aim is to play him near the back end of the NAB Cup). Other than that, your defence looks solid.
Beams is a nice pick but with Hanley now injured, expect him to cop some more attention. He's a good POD though.
Gray is fairly expensive but it's up to you if you're willing to pay that much for him. He was outstanding last year so if he backs it up, could easily be 600K+.
Overall, I do like your team although, to my personal opinion, I'd look at getting a mid-low range mid to fill M5.

Birchall missing 4-6 really kills him... upgrade target! And M.Johnson real isn't a very good selcection for me. Consider changing them to Hibberd/Simpson/B.Smith.

Rather large midfield spend! Like wines, have too got him in! Very solid.

However it has weakened the rucks. NN and Krooz are ok when you have cover... Consider Titch to Lycett or downgrade one of those 200k mid rooks to get belly or upgrade Krooz.

First 3 exact same as mine up forward love it!

Updated: Been sitting on this team for a few weeks. rookies still up in the air but there isnt any here that shouldnt play. I'm liking it, would love some feedback though! cheers!
