So someone bid  between $100,000 and $128,000 on Matthew Wade, and it has been brought to my attention that his minimum bid is $300,000. So unless that person wishes to tell me it was a typo and the 1 was meant to be a 3, then that bid will be scrapped.

Am doing this now. I can confirm we have a new highest sale, on the name of Travis Head.

Somebody really wanted Head.  :o
I can confirm it is nrich and BB67th (Queensland), for a whopping $925,000. Personally, I wouldn't pay that much for Head, unless I was a millionaire and it was Taylor Swift that asked me. Oh wait, wrong Head, carry on.

Players sold in Round 11:
Gabe Bell (NSW)
Travis Head, Peter George (QLD)
Trent Copeland, CLINT McKay, Ben Dwarshius (NT)
Nick Larkin, Nick Stevens (ACT)
Jackson Bird (TAS)
James Pattinson (WA)

I really can't help writing the name CLINT in capitals. The LI really looks like a U :P

We didn't get anybody again.  :(

And BP is still getting blokes.  :P

Spinking and I were making bids on Head along the way. Last offer was 850k we decided before we submitted that would be our last bid. A good get Nrich, he has cost you a lot and time will tell if he was worth the price tag!

BB67th

Head cost us a lot, but we feel he's going to be a great player for more than a decade to come. The batting looks very good with Burns and Head as the pillars, a few more players in these last few rounds and Queensland could still be a force to be reckoned with!

Finally, we're starting to win some players  :)

I can't wait for the bidding to finish far out. I will have my evenings back :P I'm waiting for the round when about 20 players get sold because everyone has just decided to leave their bids where they are haha

Think the future auctions are only for players not sold in this initial auction..

No, just those that haven't got bids/new players/T20 players when that time comes.
