Alrighty, everyone has their bids in, brilliant!

8 players sold that round, including 3 to one team, and two of those are pretty big names. Actually, all 8 are pretty big names.

Another team went into the round leading on 5 players, and hasn't won any of them!

Results to be up soon.

I really hope this wasn't Queensland again. It's already happened to us like 3 times.

Oh God... I hope we're the team that got three.

So the remaining budgets are updated.

SA: $2,846,000
NSW: $2,891,000
QLD: $3,325,000
VIC: $1,774,000
NT: $1,315,000
ACT: $1,355,000
TAS: $3,417,000
WA: $2,958,000

It's important to note that now that teams are running out of money, that when you send your bids in you do so in order of preference. This way if you happen to win 2 bids but can not afford both, then the higher preference will be given to you. Note you may have pending bids that go over your budget.

Jayman did nicely there taking home $1,550,000 worth of players.

Players are all crossed off the list as well in the other thread.

Wouldn't a better system be that you can't commit more than your net salary remaining? Because how will that work if coaches have to renege on bids for players which kept them in the auction, and then we're out-bidded by someone else? I.e. The difference between the 2 leading bids could be 2 auctions apart despite players are meant to sell after one auction of inactivity...

Better system would be all coaches realise how much money they have left and bid accordingly. :)

Oh yeah, next round ends roughly 23 hours from now. You know the drill by now though, just bid by the evening tomorrow and all good :)

You said for me to enforce a rule, I was saying for you to recognise it so there's no problem.

So Jayman is the sneaky barbie who kept outbidding me on Rainbird. I don't like him  :P

Correct. Some nice bidding wars going on between players. Surprised at the particular interest in one player, won't reveal his name until he gets sold.
