My SC was also terminated too early. They didnt reply to my email so  i rang them and was put through to Adelaide and the lady told me that " everyone that had SC Gold have been logged off until the season starts at the end of January as they were preparing for the season to start "
She obviously lied to me and i feel cheated .
There  is " no way " i will pay $70 to play SC .
Champion Data should reveal  " how all stats are collected and what they are looking for and how CD determine the overall points per player and the overall points / team / match "
CD dont and wont ... so is it committing fraud ? Does the racing and gaming authority in Victoria and Fed Govt approve of such actions ? if so why ?
Yes i have time and time again sent the questions to the Victoria racing and gaming and to the Fed Govt and guess what ...they " dont " reply , surprise surprise.
I will only play SC if i dont have to pay any $$$$$$.

Yeah that's obviously a lie since my SC Gold is still working as we speak.

Think this is a bit extreme. Why would CD have to reveal how stats are collected etc, SC doesn't operate a gambling service. Anything outside of that is not their responsibility (people who play cash leagues etc).
And you can play SC without paying money, this is just about SC gold...

Do you have a digital pass though? The understanding I have is that anyone who has a full digital pass still has access, it's just those of us who only pay to get SC gold that have been cut off. Because reasons.

Pretty sure thats the whole Digital Pass man

It is, but it's also the only thing available if you click the link to reactivate SC gold which throws you off a bit. It may just be that they're going to relaunch in a few days and all this will be a storm in a teacup, but honestly it's a bit stoopid if you ask me. I'm no marketing and customer relations expert, but basically you've allowed me access to a 2015 team picker, then you're taking it away for a couple of weeks because I don't want a full digital pass, before you relaunch it and give me access again once I've paid a set fee (hopefully). WTF for? Simpler and easier for everyone if you just roll out SC 2015 on the day you make SC 2014 expire, so if I want to I keep going as usual...

I only paid $20 for Gold and mine is still working. Sounds like it's pretty variable - maybe depending on the date of subscription + 12 months?

GCSkiwi

Seems that way, though when I asked if exactly that was the case,  I was told specifically

Quote from: NewsLimitedCustomerSupportAll SuperCoach Gold subscriptions finished on the same date, so your date of purchase would not effect the date of expiry.

GCSK, I reckon they might have told you a convenient porky. I seem to recall subscribing late in the pre-season last year because I'd never had it before and I was hesitant. I figure that's why I've still got mine.

Will be interested to see what they do with the price this year.

I signed up on the 9/3/14 and mine is still working so they told you a blatant lie if was not opening in a couple of days it would be worth sending them another email  ;)

GCSkiwi

Yeah not worth arguing too much about it, I think it's kinda petty either way - likeit isn't worth it to me to argue with them just to get an extra week or two's access to the team picker, but equally it's pretty pathetic that they've cut it off just because a year is up.

is this right or did I miss something. ..
we pay for 12months and after the 12 months are up the subscription ends. And because they're finalizing the 2015 game we can't subscribe again just yet...

From a customer relations point of view, does that make any sense? Obviously they don't have SC 2015 ready to roll out yet, which is fine, but what possible point is there in cutting people off, 12 months up or not?

If you were a Telstra prepay customer, and they decided this month that they were changing what you got in their recharge plans but it wasn't ready to go until a couple of weeks into your next month, would you be cool with them cutting you off for a couple of weeks while they sorted their issues out? Or do you think it's a better look for them to just roll you on for a bit until they're ready to go?

I'm not complaining that my 12 month subscription is up, I just think it's poor form to have cut it off when there isn't a replacement option available yet, especially as it costs them nothing to just keep access running for a couple of weeks. Thanks GCSKiwi for supporting our product, our reward for you is  a middle finger salute while we get our act together. But don't worry! Other people will continue to have access - we'll tell you they don't, but they do...

I dunno man, seems pretty black and white to me. We pay for 12months and we get 12months. I don't see it as this much of an issue

My issue is how they go about it. There's no countdown or warning that your 12 months is about to be up. There's currently no option to extend it, due to whatever issue(s) on their end (logically, if it's a 12 month subscription and mine is up then this time last year SC gold was up and running). Any other subscription service is not going to cut you off something without having a replcaement to roll you onto, it's a really quick way to lose business. I'm not worried about losing gold for a couple of weeks, the team picker is handy but also mostly irrelevant until NAB is underway, and there's perfectly capable and better substitutes anyway, it's just bad customer service... That's all I'm saying.
