Greene or Parker

Pendles, I think he would enjoy the added extra responsibilities in the midfield now that Beams has gone, This could result in a slight increase in points. Selwood should become an upgrade target, I ran some numbers about Selwood and this has become an interesting stat i learnt about him.

In 2013 he averaged 96 in the first half of the season he then went on to average 116 in the second half
In 2014 he averaged 100 in the first half to the season he then went on to average 112 in the second half.

Start with Pendles and then look at bringing in Selwood later on.

After Greene came back from his suspension he went on to average 116 in his last 8 games however Luke Parker is now entering elite company pushing closer and closer in becoming Sydneys best midfielder.

I would go for Parker only because of his ability to push forward and kick goals. Plus Parker can become one of the games elite players by end of year.

Just one more I need to toss up - Parker or Fyfe - Fyfe is more of a SC player but do you think that this season he can transfer those points into AF?

I agree I think Fyfe can transfer over and become one of AFs super premiums, Would have Fyfe over Parker at this point of the season.

Zorko v Elliot

Geez would take a risky man to pick either, Now that Beams, Christensen and Robinson have joined the Lions this could mean less midfield time for Zorko and he may spend more time as a forward. While one man my see less midfield time Elliot would look to get more midfield time.

Wouldn't trust either to improve much on their 2014 average but if I had to pick would have to go with Elliot mainly due to the fact that Brisbane added 3 new guys 2 of which would be capable of pushing Zorko out of the side. If Brisbane can find a way to fit all 4  in the same team together Zorko could be a nice option in the later parts of the season.

There are other options around that price range in which I would look at before these 2.

Jelwood doesn't look like he will ever be a 110 player until he reaches that 28 peak bracket - if not, ever. Hep D should go +110 this season. Just my personal opinion but he is the games elite seagull and the youngest elite mid in the comp.

I just can't justify myself having Jelwood at all, You are paying 600k for a bloke who could never well be your teams captain or leading point scorer, If I am paying 600k for someone I would want for him to either be an established super premium or someone who is looking to break into that elite bracket, Jelwood doesn't fill me with confidence

All 3 in my opinion set to have pretty good years. I currently have Jack Martin and personally im not sure why more people don't have him. He was in everyones teams last year and he is only 20k more expensive then at the start of last season.

Martin is capable of having one of the biggest point increase this year as I can see him putting 20-25 points more on his average and will be in Gold Coast best 22. With Martin its not a discussion of if he will be a premium its just when.

Lennon looked good at points last year when coming on, Is facing a lot of competition for that small/mid sized forward role. Has the talent to cement a spot in the side. Could be more vests coming his way in the early parts of the season though

Salem will be a gun as well, Looks towards the middle part of the year he was ready to cement his positon in the starting 22. Seems a huge candidate to receive the vest and would want to wait to see how the addition of Pettracca and where that will leave Salem. Watch in the pre season to see what role he is playing for the club.

Yeah Parker can be a bit wonky with his frees but his ability to push forward and kicks goals is a great addition. Like I previously said in the earlier post he is ready to break into that elite bracket of midfielders now. Especially after his final series.

His low ownership rate is nice as well  ;)
