Most people would probably advise you go with 'safety' in McDonald.

I still think that key position players will fall over at some point, I can't explain their heightened scoring output this season. In contradiction, Pittard plays the ultimate Supercoach game style. Running and bouncing off half back and through the middle, averaging 24.2 disposals with elite efficiency at 82.6% plus a kick to handball ratio of more than 2:1.

In typing this, I've almost convinced myself to get on the Pittard train. Kind of upset at the thought of missing out on this prospect. Still a risk with no scoring history, but all the signs point to a huge breakout year.

Just my two cents.

Shaw, safe pick, will be top 5 defenders, just lock him in for the rest of the year and don't worry about it.
