Jay

I've got the cash to grab Brayshow for CEY.

Thoughts?

colmullet

Last Fwd rookie spot to sort out

Already have Salem,Clark,Hogan,Lamb

Free Kick

Yeah, with Lambert not selected I have seriously considered SAAD myself.. Would'nt be a bad pick IMO..

Mr Adams

I know I know, this one has been done to death, but......

Brayshaw: I'm a Dees fan and think Brayshaw is an absolute BEAST. He's been playing games down at Casey and getting in the best. He is ready to go - do not be fooled.

Newton: Guaranteed game time, but probably not as high a scorer as Brayshaw. Could be a slow burner, but for $200K....

Sheed: Surely can avoid the vest this year? Sounds like he was a magnet in his junior years.

De Goey: I also rate, but more likely a sub risk than these other three, don't you think?

Help?!

Brown vs Oxley

WTF?
Soo...
Which one?
I need to know the same thing

Same problem. Oxley. If you're a risk taker. Im thinking both on my bench. Mcintosh and saad on the ground.

Ibbotson, Goldstein, Tarrent/Hogan or Saad, Nic Nat, Bennell
Saad and Hogan already on bench, would move to ground.

I have both there now, after tonight's performance by KMac I'm very open to playing two rookies in defence.

Agreed, Goodes, mvintosh and saad on ground. brown, oxley on bench.

Beams tempts me every time I look at my team

The possibility of a tag worries me
Possibility? Basically a guarantee, and he'll be the #6 mid this year in SC

You think he can beat it?

Does he definitely get tagged? Brisbane mids stocked this year. I think its an interesting team to play against in terms of who gets the tag.....

And if my memory serves me correctly he copped the tag a few games towards the end of last year and it didn't stop him
With Hanley injured, and Rich likely to spend a fair bit of time playing off half back, Beams will surely get the tag. Rocky isn't as damaging, more of an accumulator, so it's a waste tagging him. And Zorko won't get as much midfield time either. Redden never gets tagged.

And yeah he handled it fairly well when getting the tag at the Pies, and arguably has a better midfield around him for support.

Alright so from what I can tell, Beams was tagged three times last year. In those games he scored:

Melbourne (Cross): 106
Carlton (Curnow): 108
Port Adelaide (Cornes): 141
Average: 118

In 2012, he was tagged 4 times.

Fremantle (Crowley): 117
Carlton (Carazzo): 80
St. Kilda (Jones): 144
West Coast (Selwood): 123
Average: 116

Those are some pretty comforting stats
