I reckon it could be the other way. If Wingard is underdone he'll sit in the forward line the whole game and not take any midfield time from Gray.

Option A. Hibberd will outscore MacMillan, Goldy will outscore Smith, the difference will be more than what Crouch outscores one of your cows by. More points, more certainty, less trades. I don't see much upside to option B unless you really think they all have a good chance to be keepers for low investment (I don't).
