A bit outside the box, BUT:

a) Goldy + Waters D5 + DEF rookie D6
b) TMitchell + Yeo D5 + Waters D6             *(via Belly)

JPK v Sloane v Barlow

I like the order you have them in.
+1

But I will be very likely to start Sloane over JPK due to the byes. Wishing there was a way to tinker my structures to get JPK in.

B crouch or A swallow to start as M5?

A Swallow. He has the runs on the board whereas B Crouch doesn't (yet)

Plus you can cheer him on for both the team you support and your SC side which is a bonus!

Crouch > Griffen > Ellis > Swallow.

So basically Goldy + Def rook vs Titchell + Yeo? Tough call because we don't know how rooks will shape up, but I'm tempted to think Titcheo might actually take this one out. Depends what role Titchell gets and what we get by way of def rooks

Agree with those saying Swallow

Cheers. That's basically what I was thinking, it's a bit of a "no D6 rookie contingency plan"

Yeah I just don't know what to honestly expect out of Titchell/Yeo. Let's say Goldy 100-110, Titchell could be anywhere from 80-100 I reckon, Yeo maybe 70? So you'd need a Def rookie you were confident could get 50+ to make Goldy + rook worth it...

On the other hand, Goldy is almost definitely a keeper (injury aside), with a rookie to upgrade, Titchell could be a keeper fwd but by no means certain, and I think Yeo you're going to trade. So potentially more trades needed for Titchell/Yeo too...

Murphy v Dangerfield

Danger - Think they'll average about the same but Danger has that potential to go a little higher and even be top 10

Murphy

Additions to the Carton midfield as well as a fully fit Judd in the middle will take some pressure off Murph, could well push back to 115+

Danger has the contract situation hanging over him - we have seen with other high profile players what happens when they don't sign early. I cannot pick him.

I'm not picking him either but I would think he would cope a bit better than others have - Being interstate should help as well as being in the same boat as Sloane

Isn't Sloane's fiancé from Adelaide? His parents have moved over from Melbourne as well. I don't think he is leaving. Probably just holding out until Danger leaves to get a bigger piece of the pie.
