Haha is there a Carlton supporter out there that actually likes Mick?

Yeah I think it's stupid, he's a natural Ruckman that CAN rest forward, not a forward that can pinch hit in the ruck.

He is senile

The bold bit is 100% correct. They have tried to play him forward, it hasn't worked except for 1 game in his first season. Kreuz and his helicopters are meant for the ruck not the forward line. Square peg, round hole

Neither :P Griffen probably because he's cheaper, and I don't really think that you can justify picking Swallow as a midfielder. If he was still a defender maybe, but wouldn't touch him as a mid.

I am pretty sure he is talking about Andrew and not David

Selwood vs Fyfe
Fyfe. Jelwood historically starts slow and comes home strong

Fyfe. Jelwood historically starts slow and comes home strong

First month

2012: 116, 112, 140, 144
2013: 126, 140, 74, 163
2014: 157, 140, 138, 126

Hardly say that's starting slowly :)

And after that first month? Last year those scores were followed up with a 83, 82, 93 and in 2013 continued with scores of 87, 105, 100, 83, 91, 73

So going off that, we could say he's more likely to be a cheaper upgrade target than Fyfe would.

RaisyDaisy

You cant go wrong with either. I was just simply showing that he doesn't start slow. He might have a lean patch, but any mid could. Either way they're both elite, but I'll be taking Jelwood because he is more reliable and has a much better bye.

Fyfe will probably be my first upgrade target, because you don't want to not have him for too long!

Yeh GL thats why I really wanted Fyfe over him (plus a little bias), but Jelwood has the better bye. Both great options, would rather Fyfe to start personally though.

Selwood vs Fyfe

Selwood. I think Fyfe is more likely to pop his shoulder or get rubbed out. Plus Selwood has a better scoring history and a good bye round while Fyfe has the worst.

Newnes & JPK v Simpson & Dusty

Yeah I meant A. Swallow v Griffen. The two under priced options capable of 110+

Newnes & JPK v Simpson & Dusty

Simpson and Dusty

Both more likely be top 6 in their respective positions (Dusty in Forwards) than Newnes or JPK to be top 8 in the mids

Better for the byes as well.

A Walker vs Birchall

Birchall easily for me. He went 92+ from 2011 - 2013 and still averaged 89 last year even though he had to play a shutdown role at times due to all the Hawks injuries in their backline. Walker has had one good season of scoring and who knows where Mental Mick will play him this year.
