Brayshaw v Petracca

Whoever gets named. If both named, I think Brayshaw at this stage but let's be honest, none of us have any idea...

Ward vs Jelwood

Selwood easily for me. He has the runs on the board and has scored 117 or more in 4 of his last 5 seasons. Ward is a gun but doesn't have the really high SC scoring history just yet. I'm not saying Ward can't score 117 or more but I think he is less likely to than Selwood.

Brayshaw v Petracca
Brayshaw man. The kid is a jet. But yeh we'll have to see who lines up

big_cox21

Wards average was exactly 117 after round 19. He then put in 2 of his only 3 sub 90 scores in rounds 20 and 21 and didn't play 22 or 23 finishing on 112.75. So he is right around the mark for a 115-120 ave. good way to save 50k

Swallow v griffen?

Griffen. Honestly don't rate Swallow that much!

Petracca as a forward? I like Brayshaw more as well, but Petracca's a forward which could give him the advantage.

Neither :P Griffen probably because he's cheaper, and I don't really think that you can justify picking Swallow as a midfielder. If he was still a defender maybe, but wouldn't touch him as a mid.

Deledio and Heeney/Cockatoo v Ward and Laverde.
So 4 Premo mids and fwds or 5 and 3?

Deledio and a rookie mate, 100%

strongly disagree 5 premo mids and 3 forwards.

getting a 115+ mid will crush lids and i like the forward options.

would go someone over Ward like Selwood or JPK but them and laverde over Lids Cockatoo.

Clancee Pearce v Jack Lever

Lids can go 110+ though.

Neither :P told you my thoughts on Clancee

Clancee for me, experience! Not too sure Lever will get games either!

I have had the 5 premo mids and 3 forwards for most of my pre season, with  Buddy, Swan and BJ locked for me. But just think Lids is too hard to pass up now with 7+ seasons of 100+ and Cockatoo/Heeney likely to score fairly well.

As I see it.

Ward/JPK 118 + Laverde 55 = 173
Vs
Lids 105 + Cockatoo/Heeney 75 = 180.

Obviously it will be very close but the extra mid gives an extra VC choice!

It's a tough one

justaverage

Id be very suprised if Heeney, Laverde and Cockatoo got a run without the vest. Id be re-thinking those estimates.

How bout Yeo vs Seedsman

Seedsy, I think with Harry gone, he will be our go to off hb along with Marley. I can see a comfortable 90 average from him.
