Can't comment on McGrath but Lonie has shown plenty. Ducks, weaves, composed, good ball user with good goal sense and good defensive side to his game/ does 1%ers ... Only thing against him is his height (174cm) May need to be rested/ looked after at some point but can't see him dropped on exposed form at this stage.

Yep, sound logic. With many of the top forwards struggling this year 100 looks to be good enough for F6, I think we can almost rule a line through Deledio due to ongong achilles issues, Goddard looks to be spending more time forward, Boomer could finally be the victim of father time, Bennell will be playing in a rabble of a team, Buddy will be a roller coaster (but still worth jumping on when he bottoms out).

Top 6 forwards - Gray, Martin, Bartel, Swan, ______, _______. I would think Buddy averages 100-110 but is worth waiting for, which leaves a guy like Bont to fill the last place. If some of the former premos kick into gear then a sideways trade can always be done, by that stage Bont will be the same price if not higher.

Any thoughts on Bont vs Dahlhouse ?

Bont = more likely to cop number 1 tag, but more capable of breaking tag / will most likely spend more time on the ball / can kick goals / is a tackling machine / has DPP / is cheaper / second year blues possibly

Dal = less likely to cop tag, but when he does will struggle more than Bont / will spend more time in fwd line you would think, but chance of kicking more goals / would be a major POD / more experienced and has proven himself to be able to score well

If they both spend heaps of time on the ball, then I think they could both end up being top 10 keeper fwds. Bont looks like he will no longer be a POD, whereas Dal could be a massive POD.

Personally, I prefer Dal, but Bont's DPP status makes it easier to trade him in.
