Which combo?

A. Ibbo at D5, Brown at D8 and Miller at M10
(Must start Heeney)

Vs

B. Clancee at D5, McIntosh at D8 and Newton at M7
(Start Newton over Heeney)
You might need to wait until Round 1 teams before you can decide on this one. If all the above are named I would go option 2 as I think Newton's JS compared to Miller's is a key factor.

Steven + Gray
vs
Griffen + Buddy

Really wanted to start with Gray but Griffen is probably a better chance than Steven to be a keeper at M5?

Griff+Buddy all the way. Got that feeling Buddy's  in for a big season.

I picked Fyfe first out of those two. Might be less susceptible to certain taggers due to largely playing inside...

Pendles has lost some of the help around him, so he could drop off a bit, but he has just been so consistent from year to year that you would have to be very brave not to pick him. Especially if you went without Gaj

Rockliff + Griffen v two of JPK, Ward, Lewis

I always get worried about how many mids GWS can play through the mids the whole game with Griff Ward Whitfield Treloar Shiel and Greene. Despite this I've just downgraded Jpk to Griff to be my 5th and final mid premo in hope that his last year was due to not getting along with the coach plus minor injuries and he can get back to his 2013 form.

Hugh Goddard vs Ciaran Byrne (For backup to Higgins)

Wouldn't be picking either of them

Both unlikely to get games early I would've thought

Saad, NBrown, KMcIntosh, Hamling, Goddard are the best rookies in order. But only Saad and NBrown look to have any sort of JS

Mark

So would you pick Hamling or Goddard ?

Have the others in backs and Saad in forwards..

I'd only pick 3 of those boys so your only have one risky pick but even then some will only go with 2 rookies in defence and start Goodes at D6.

Saad from Saints is the fwd, Saad from GC is a def

ahh ok. Move him to your defence man. He's the best rookie available atm back there and there are better mid options
