i like the team, especially your mids. That said, you are week in the backs. I know most people are going light-on in the backs as there isn't enough premos to start the year, but you have none. In the mids you have the two most expensive players. Both who i had in my team last year at the beginning, though this year i am thinking they might drop in value a bit, before everyone picks them up. Ablett is just starting contact work at training, as he is still recovering from the shoulder injury. He will play round 1 surely, but will he be up for the rough attention that he usually gets. Who knows. Rockliff will again dominate the year in fantasy points, but can he keep up the 130av. I think it will be closer to 115-120, as there are now lots more players coming through the midfield for brisbane. More of Hanley, the return of Redden (rockliffs av went up after redden got injured midseason), plus the addition of Beams. Possibly less ball for Rocky (who knows he might get more, i hope so)

Cheers for the feedback M8.

This is deliberate for the backs at the moment the top averaging Premo is hodge with a 97 average last year then it drops to 92 and below. I have gone for some value in the backs with potential to do quite well, If they can average 75 and above for the first few rounds with a couple of big scores i don't see i'm losing to much. How can anyone say premos in the backline with a top average of just 97 last year ??? Why pay more for someone that averages under a 100 ? Yeah Rocky and Ablett may drop in value but they are capable of going big as they are fantasy pigs. Rocky cleaned up last year with getting the best taggers each week due to so many injuries.  Imagine what he can do with the support he going to get this year with Redden , Beams , Rich, hanley and a few others around him. These are all classy players that will get the ball to Rocky plus he tackles like a machine so i'm predicting another big year for the pig. The C will be on Rocky first up and i hope he goes massive.

I'm sure my team will change a hundred times yet but will be watching the Nab cup to get more of an idea of my final setup.

i agree with your team mate. just trying to give some feedback. When i said light on for premos in the back, there are hardly any players averaging over 90, compared to other positions on the field. It is mainly because they have taken mid status off so many players in the backs. Well we are all in the same boat, trying to manage break out years from players and players coming back from injury. As much as i have said rocky and ablett in the team might not be good, even if they lose value they are still worth so much, and are going to perform consistently throughout the year for you. So get them in. i probably will to..

All good m8.

I will wait for the NAB cup now and make my mind up about the backs then. I'm not convinced the so called premos in the back are the go this year looking for value early back there that will score reasonably well.
