Figured I may just post my preliminary squad to be picked apart.

Midfield: Ablett, Pendles, Barlow, Griffen, VB, Freeman, Acres, Newton (Jansen, Durmont)

Ruck: Jacobs, Kreuzer (Mckernan, Grimley)

Forwards: Lids, Swan, Goddard, Bellchambers, Martin, Hogan (Clark, Daniel)

Cash $42,000

Like the team!!! Solid back structure but what's your reasoning for Jaksch?
Good mid selections but could be a little weak with Van Berlo at M5 and Griffen might not average enough to warrant M4
Jacobs is a great unique pick !
Solid forwards !!!

Thanks for the reply money.

Griffen comes to the Giants after an injury ridden year at the Bulldogs in which he wasn't happy, He wasn't happy with the coach, the fact he was given extra responsibilities as captain and not happy that he couldn't get his body right.

He goes from being the number 1 midfield at the Bulldogs where he received the tag each and every week to a club where he could very well be the 3rd in the pecking order behind Treloar and Ward. If he is given more freedom in this midfield he could get back to his 12/13 form. Plus with more midfielders to carry the load Griffen may also find his way down forward a lot more meaning more goals.

It was either Van Berlo or Sheed for me I went with VB purely because apparently he won't be tagging this year could score decentish.

Jaksch could be a hit or a miss will be a good swingman for the blues who rely heavily on another swingman in Henderson to get the job done. Jaksch could be a nice little cash cow capable of playing 10-15 games this year.
