Just always been a DT beast and a ball magnet. Had a couple of injury affected years but hoping he can have a  good season

I'm going to start with the FWDs because DEF is a bit more difficult this year.
Harvey is interesting. I doubt many people will pick him this year, so that's good because he will be a unique, however surely his age will catch up to him eventually. I don't see him increasing his average but I can see players like Gray/Goddard/Buddy increasing their average a bit.
It's obviously way too early to be concerned about rookies but i'll just say I think Krakouer has somewhat iffy JS.
Rucks are pretty standard. Standard but risky. I don't have much faith in either of them so I think i might try and have bellchambers in my team as well as a bit of a safety blanket.
Don't pick Boyd. I see no upside to him at all. His time has come and gone. Jobe, Parker, Greene, Treloar, Cotchin, Prestia or Ward are all valid alternatives (with varying levels of risk).
I assume brandon Ellis? (he's a good pick)
Your backs are a bit heavy I think. Maybe get rid of Simpson or Hodge and try and get a FWD premium? FWD's will probably net more points I think.
Pretty solid though mate.

Thanks for the feedback fuzz.
I Just like Harvey as a p.o.d. Has the history to back him in.

I actually had Cotchin in ahead of Boyd just before I posted this and may still make the change but I just feel that with Griffen and Cooney leaving will mean that Boyd, as a long time leader of the club will step up in the midfield.

I have 3 defensive premiums and 4 forward premiums (counting Tom Mitchell as a prem as I think he's set for a big year)

Thanks again :)

Interesting that you are putting faith in the old dog. I would've thought Bont/Macrae/Dalh/Hunter/etc would step up. Honestly, I don't think Boyd can 'step up', he gives his all every week, there's nothing more he can do.

That's what I mean though, he's the only mature head in the engine room and I think he will lead the way. Definitely has always done that but probably took a little bit more of a backseat the last 2 years, handing the captaincy over and missing some games with injury. I think with a full season he will average 105-110

I do see where you are coming from but sorry, I do not agree. I'm not trying to say he will drop off completely (he will probably average 95 again or so), I just think it will be a young gun (Bont) who steps up to fill the Griffen void.

Kellogscrunchynut

As others have said Boyds best fantasy days are past him and there are a number of other dogs midfielders who have the capacity to fill the gap left by Griffen.

Another issue that I have is having Sam Colquhoun in the backline since his job security will be shaky and he hasn't proven himself as a consistent score in AF yet.

Otherwise a good solid team with a decent mix of premiums, mid pricers, rookies and uniques.

Perhaps someone like Macrae?

Mcrae, Libba, Wallis take your pick.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Will look to see how Boyd is going during the nab challenge.

Finally had another look at this and have made some adjustments.

D: Hodge, Simpson, Hibberd, Lumumba, Goodes, Saad (McIntosh, Hamling)

M: Rockliff, Pendles, Heppell, Boyd, Rich, Newton, Cripps, Ellis-Yolman (Anderson, Vandenberg)

R: Mumford, Leuenberger (Phillips, Read)

F: Bartel, Martin, Franklin, Swan, Salem, Clark (Saad, Lambert)

$10,000

Hibberd and Heppell only there for now but will obviously be changed if they are going to miss footy.

Any advice appreciated :)

Mumford tends to break down a bit, possibly minson/Goldstein could be a better option as they don't miss many games
