Happy I persevered with him. I was pretty close to trading him out after round 6 or so but he's been excellent since then.

Saints new high posession play is really suiting his style. Plus it seems he has improved on his kicking which is helping his scores

Ricochet

And people said trade him ::)

Both he and Ibbo are repaying the faith

In fact, most the preseason midpriced defenders that ppl were considering started slow and have built into form. MacMillan is another

Glad I had the faith.

Averaged 98.13 since Rnd 6. Take out the 53 against Hawks, and that turns into 104.57. Will end up being a top 6 defender at this rate.
I don't like it when people take out numbers just to make things look better. If you want to take out his worst score, then take out his best score as well. It still gives a 99.83 average across 6 games though.

Yeah it's pretty interesting isn't it. Only Lumumba has been a poor selection for the whole season. And on trading him, he had 20.8% ownership after Rd 11 heading into his bye, after the Rd 13 match, 19.6%. People traded him during his bye despite only having one sub 85 score in the last 6 matches?! In that case I better go trade Hodge out this week.

Yes it is

no eye deer

I'm happy I held on to him now. Unfortunately I traded in a new problem a few weeks ago who goes by the name of McGovern. :(

I got crucified preseason for saying Clancee was a better pick.

I traded him. After the 50 odd against Hawthorn because I'd seen enough.

To Boston and pocketed $315k. Which then allowed Murphy, Simpson and Sloane (now Sidebottom) to enter my team at the expense of Lumumba (lol), Mckenzie and Clark. So all was not lost on that trade and I'll back doing it.

However I hate how well the Saints are playing now, because this high possession game is so good for Jack!

Except that Newnes has outscored Simpson by 87pts in those 3 weeks :P

Got Hodge for him so am quite happy. Still made money on Newnes though and not trading him earlier in the season.

Same with Ox, although may need to hold him even though he will come down in price as got to think of Cripps.
