Can I ask a question (just did lel)?.

When people nominate and vote for 'personality' of the year, what are they basing their nominations/votes on? The reason I ask is that there are two definitions for personality and depending on which is used I think others have a better chance at winning than others. Even if both are used, I still feel like a lot of nominations/votes are somewhat redundant.

This is a forum, I'm trying to create discussion, so can we keep this civil enough not to get it locked (which I think has happened in the past...)?
