fair enough mate, but you probably need some safety premos in there. Guys like Hibberd, Simpson and co.

I was just informed it doesn't look like Selwood will be ready for round 1. I would downgrade Hoff to get some cash and upgrade Selwood to a 600+k mid. Also not a huge fan of Suckling this year either so it might be worth either trying to upgrade or downgrade him as well.

Capper

Heppell and Geary in for Suckling and Selwood??

Mat0369

I don't mind that. I like Dys over Jobe this year and if I wasn't looking at Hanners and Sidebottom I would probably take the punt on Heppell and Geary could be an interesting one. Can you afford Ibbo instead of Geary? I can't remember their prices off the top of my head

hmmm still tinkering will post next team soon

Think this could be Hoff's year. The inclusion of Ryder will really free him up to do his own thing! Any other year I'd consider him, but with so many ripper midfielders forwards available I just can't.

Don't know what upside Suckling has. Would go Yeo if you want someone cheap who should go close to premium, just watch his NAB.

I much prefer Kreuz over Leuenberger.

your team is much better but there are a few players u are missing going in with this team, Ablett could be a huge miss if he starts with a 140 and pendles is a risky out he can also produce big scores, last but not least Fyfe is a big name he went at scoring over 100 94percent of the time last year so look that way
and i would consider a few mid price downgrades to put a few more big names in your team

I have put the guys in bold I am not a fan of or I think you can get better options. I won't include the rookies who will be subjective.

So the reason I highlighted Geary and Ibbo is because I wouldn't role with both when you also have Hendo. I would maybe look at freeing up some cash to upgrade one.

While Swallow has had a decent scoring history, I don't think he will be more then a weak mid 8. They have more scorers at North now so maybe he is more a 105 average then the 110 he was before the injury. When I have brought this up the general response has  been that you can just trade him out. I see it as a burnt trade where I think you may be better off getting another premium forward for the same price or a premium defender at a cheaper price and have a certain keeper I agree that you need one of Gaz or Pendles since they seem to be the most consistent scorers over a sustained period. I really do like your other mids though, I think Hepp is ready to explode and I also have Sidebottom.

Reid is injured and doesn't look to play round 1 so maybe downgrade him to Lambert to free up an extra 100k. I am not a huge fan of Hannath just because I don't think his JS is super and being a ruck/forward he will score poorly anyway. Their seem to be better cheaper options, maybe someone like Salem. I am also not sold on Membrey but he is a decent placeholder at his price.

I also wouldn't pick Walters because he is too pricey for a stepping stone and I think you need to average 100 to be a premium forward this year. That is why I also have some doubts on Mitchell. I think you need to try and upgrade one to a Buddy/Martin as you would expect them to be top 10 at their positions which is good enough.

I would go and free up 168 k to bring in Pendles for Swallow. I think the forward rookies are pretty strong so maybe Walters to a rookie option and use the cash to start upgrading. So something like this

Reid>Lambert 114k
Hannath>Salem 6.7k
Walters>Hogan 252.6k

Then use the cash to get in Pendles and maybe upgrade one of Geary/Mitchell

Money Shot

Reid and Hannath to Hogan and Daniel for around 150k
Rich to Rookie as you have spent a lot of money on that mid 200k
Use the 350k to upgrade your least favourite mid pricers to premiums.

Would love your thoughts on my team.
