Yeah same thing happened last year I found, doesn't actually let you choose anyone as captain/vice.

Been quite fortunate. Got Malceski on the bench at the moment, not ideal but I don't wanna ditch him either (because he'll come back and do well for whoever gets him if I do :P). Gonna lose Kane Cornes in two weeks, gonna have to find a good replacement.
