He hasn't signed yet mate, how would it look if the captain walks out on the club. As bad as it would be if Sloane does go it would be worse as our clubs skipper.

Maxwell captain 2009 to 2013, Pies made the finals EVERY year, top 4 2009 to 2012, Premiers 2010. All-Australian.

He is one of the best captaincy records in recent times....

Imagine what they could of accomplished with a great captain in that time... 3 maybe 4 flags??

He was lucky he was surrounded by a lot of good players. And a backline that was willing to take his opponent whilst he floats off and does sweet eff all!
