Brisbane International just finished with the Sydney tournament starting today. Also the Hopman cup finished last night with Poland beating the USA in a mixed double to decide the winners

Well done to Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova for winning the Brisbane international events

The Australian open starts soon, anyone got some favourites or a predicted winner?

Male Singles Winner: Novak Djokovic but would love to see Stan the Man win it again
Female Singles Winner: Agnieszka Radwanska

what a game between Masha and Ana, obviously not happy with the result but a good showing.

Coming over for the tennis halfway through the 3rd round, looks like Ana should still be around so pumped for that.

This Fast4 stuff is nonsense, it's normal tennis with two less games per set.

I honestly can't see any notable difference

I caught end, it's not exactly faster as you guys said, just to less... Doubt it's gonna catch on long term.

Caught the Stosur Vs Safarova match earlier today, was a pretty intense match although some shots made me laugh :P.

Bill Manspeaker

there were a couple of little differences. no lets, tie-breaker rules

probably something else. but yeah, pretty much the same game

don't see it catching on unless something new is added. maybe have like a super point or something? women play in a bikini?

Holz

It's tennis without all the build up and tough mental battles.

Really dislike the format.

The oldies only like it because it'll extend their careers if it catches on. It won't though, the rallies will still go for 50 shots.

Alize Cornet will win the female singles title. Heard it here first. ;)

maybe if she skips the Australian open and plays some satellite tournament. Even than she isn't a shoe in.
