Apparently today was the first time Berdych has ever beaten Nadal in 18 attempts.
Had he lost it would've been the worst losing streak between two players ever recorded.

Berdych had beaten him 3 times previously. They were in 2005 and 2006 though.

Nadal had won in the previous 17 matches between the two.

H2H after today Nadal 18-4 Berdych

Typical English, identify under the United Kingdom when suited for sport.
They don't just identify under the United Kingdom. They support guys like Ben Stokes, Gary Ballance and Sam Robson in sport, what part of the UK are they from? ;)

Was convincingly dealt with from a better player but the kid has future star written all over him.
Bout time we got another decent Aussie tennis player.
Got a feeling hes gonna be one of those blokes that is hated more than loved though

I have great grandparents who were Irish and Scottish, fellas, and I even have the most Irish name and middle name combo of all time.

Just because the only roots you all have are of convicts and stolen-generation-perpetrators ;)
