Bont dealt with two hard tags with no issues, I think he's a must now. The question is, how to get him in?

Who hard tagged him? WCE don't have any hard taggers and nor do Richmond

Everyone has an opponent - there's a difference between having your opponent run with you and being tagged

I haven't seen Bont tagged

Didn't Scotty Selwood go to him last week? I swear he was following him around last week. I'm pretty sure Hunt was on him for a period yesterday, both times they seemed to fade away.

With games against top 4 quality sides I would tread with extreme caution, he obviously won't lose money but he may not appreciate in value as much as some are predicting. I really think it's worth just holding fire for the time being, I certainly wouldn't be entertaining an Ablett to Bonts trade as an alternative.

I thought bont was going head to head with Martin for the first half?

RD... scooter wore bont like a glove. He only had 22ish touches but did what good players do and racked up something like 11 tackles and went forward and kicked a goal or two.

Get the Bont in now!

Marcos83

Any1 watch his first 2 games. Please provide an insight.

Most likely will be the no1 transferred player this week. Im just concerned about whether he will be top 5-6 FWDS at year end. Also can he cop a tag, has he been tagged or watched closely!

jeesh

He's a similar situation to Swallow last year. Similar awkward price and similar scores in the first 2 rounds. I had doubts that Swallow could keep it up so I didn't bring him in on the bubble but he continued to score well and I eventually traded him in at some stage and paid slight overs for him. Think I might take the same approach with the Bont despite how tempting he is. The tough upcoming draw is a slight concern, I'm sure the Hawks will be looking to bounce back with some venom down in Tassie. It's a long season and priority 1 at the moment has to be cash generation for the future upgrades so I'll let him slide for now unless teams on Thursday decide for me otherwise.

Sorry but after watching gaj resting up forward and scared to go in and use his hands he's gota go.
And watching the machine that is Bont he is the most important player to bring in. Glad i started Wallis in the mids too.
Their draw plays more shiity teams that top teams so nice scores will come more often.

Traded Gaz - swapped Gray to Mids - Brought in Bont fwd.
Traded Miller upto NVB
$250K left over.

If Bont gets tagged he is a tackle machine anyhow.  I had the cash to go from Cocky to Bont, no brainer.  The kid's a freak.

Nice upgrade

I'm also considering the Ablett > Bont trade, flicking Gray into the midfield for the time being.

I'm drawing a lot of comparisons to Fyfe's second year.

Both around 190cm midfielders.

Both played 16 games in their first season and averaged in the 70's.

I know it's not as simple as that, but he has looked awesome from his first 2 games. I think he's every chance to be a keeper in the forward line.

petefisker

Yup pretty much.
I've got Gray, Bartel, Dusty & Swan and do not want to trade any of them.
So to get Bont in gota move some1 to the mids for now.

Slashers

Watching the Tigers vs Dogs replay atm. He's an impressive unit indeed!
It's no wonder they let Griffen go, this guy is like a young clone.

Bully

Two players who have managed to qualify for premo status in their second year have been Fyfe & Martin, so it's definitely possible with Bonts. Having weighed up the pros and cons I'm tempted to bring him in as it frees up cash to bring in Smith as well, having Goodes & Brown on the bench is making me slightly nervous.
