Still not sure if he is worth trading in, he could be a breakout player and go the 110+ this season but I can see him falling off late season.  As I am going for league win I am going to wait until mid season before I will know if he will be in my final 8 midfielders.  Van Berlo on the other hand is a guy I think must be had.  I'll likely trade out cripps if he isn't named next week.

Loving the Bonts. Took a punt and brought him in  for Swan last minute last week so happy with the way he's goin about things. Swanny scoring ok but  would be a bit worried where he's playin. Bont looks smooth as silk.

;)

After reading the doubts most Doggy fans had about him prior to Rd.1 I started him and have no regrets. Cheers all.    ;)
Me too

Not being smart, but the Bulldogs have played two showere sides. He won't have that freedom against good sides.
Bont also quickly pushing to be first in line for a tag now I reckon.

Hope so.. it's the only thing stopping me from quitting after having him all preseason and then dropping him!

Samsturmfels

I wish I was able to start with the bont,
Martin, Gray and Swan are all doing fine though

as well with me..
the temptation of gaz to jpk/sloane/lewis and bellchambers to bont is proven almost impossible to ignore

Those are the same three I've started with.

Lets see - WCE finished 9th last year, Richmond finished 8th last year

if they are shower then the Dogs only play 7 sides better than them, only one of them twice - that leaves another 12 games where they will play a shower team

I think your logic is flawed !!

I can see him falling the week I get him in. Hawks this week. Will probably pull a 50. But I'm still getting him I think.

PICCOLLO

Dogs play shower teams more often than good teams. Even if he scores a few 60-70s, the 100s make up for it. Hes a fwd too. A 100 avg is pretty decent. Id say he'll go close to that.

Bully

Dogs play Hawthorn, Adelaide, Sydney, Saints & Freo over the next five weeks, that's one 'easy' game coming up. I think I'll wait to see how he goes against the best before diving in. Great player but still only second year.

Spot on

Surely he cant keep pumping out 120+ scores every week.

Cant get sucked into chasing previous scores. Watching him play he clearly looks like he can average 100+, but there's plenty of time to get him. If you started him, then great, and as much as I would love to have him in my side, at this early stage of the season there are more important things to focus on

Torpedo10

Bont dealt with two hard tags with no issues, I think he's a must now. The question is, how to get him in?
