 ;)

Swapped Mummy for Goldy and a lot of my team around. The final result is in Rate my SC Team.  And then changed everything again. Cheers.

I really like him, but I cant find room for him. He's currently fighting with titch for a spot in my team.

Anybody else have the pleasure of watching Marcus Bontempelli play last night.
What a star this kid is going to be.   Convinced me to put him into my team and expect him to avg 100+ and not suprised if makes 110+ for season.

Runs,  taller than Pendles and takes a strong mark.  Contested beast, tackles well.   Just a very impressive footballer.
Will probably get tagged but dont think it will stop this bloke as he goes and gets his ball as well.

For me it came down to the fat lazy old pig counting his money and young hungry doggie looking for a junk yard.

Big yes for me, I needed a forward for under $450k and I had Tex Walker but the Bont was always in the back of my mind, last night locked him in for me.

You and JR have the runs on the board and need to be respected.   Plenty of evidence to support 2YB's but the beauty of SC is each to his own.

Pretty standard team for me on most lines and Bont will be my POD in the forwards.   Most likely scenario he may cost me 10 points a game compared to Swan.    At worst possibly 20 if Swan gets back to form and bont doesnt stand up.

I actually see it the other way around. Will gain 20 points over those with Swan.
Appreciate the feedback and reality check.

I'm picking him. He's a gun and i love watching him play. If he flops rd1 and 2 ill consider flicking him for Swan or other @ that price range but Swan looks disinterested imo...

Lets jump from player to player every week after nab matches! Were you considering him after he scored 62 last week? Or just on the back of one match against a team that looks to be one of the worst in the league?

Fair points.   However Avg 80 last year,  is bigger, stronger and capable of continued improvement.    Will probably have more ups and downs than an established player and that is what I am betting against really.     As far as my team,  I have had Swan in for a long time except one occassion when I considered Tmitch.     problem is tmitch is not guaranteed a spot and if he plays regularly will not be through middle.
Bont probably has more strengths than Tmitch and looks a better option.    I decided on Gray as Fwd Premo who is reliable and therefore needed to look at options.

As you said Collingwood looked ordinary and fwd line is a mess.   Swan is not the answer for them.   If not fit enough to run through middle (and looks that way) then will be limited to a 80-90 player.

Bont offers reasonable upgrade path or possibility of being keeper.
