The word "app" is in my 2004 dictionary, not as an abbreviation for application, but it is there. People use it over application because we are lazy and it rolls of the tongue better.

Cant compute how people don't get their license when 18

I can walk into Perth from my house in 15 minutes, 5 minutes into the main part of Mt Lawley, just get the train to Claremont (work+footy), Subiaco (footy), and uni (and don't tell anyone but I usually just jump over the barrier where you tag on). Never have to worry about parking or petrol, get to spend time concentrating on my phone not on the road, etc. Easy lifts to American Football training+games because both my brother and his mate who lives around the corner play in the team too. Easy as.
tl;dr living in the middle of everything in a small country town like Perth is easy

That being said, I'm probably going to get my Ls sometime in the next month, give me something to do while on uni break I suppose

Those are great reasons not to get a car :) but different to getting a drivers licence

Why pay for something and go through the hassle of getting it that you're not going to use? :P

So it's a bit like that condom in your wallet then.  ::)

Doing my first marathon this year before the body packs it in.  Anyone who has done one and got tips, let me know!

Am pretty much starting from scratch after a nasty recurring hammy all year.  Up to 2x13km runs a week. Am just going to increase by a km a week for the time being.  Got a tough 6 months ahead.

I'm a horrible runner, but a site called wiggle.com sell pretty cheap packs of supplements for different types of training including marathons.  I got a cycling one that arrived today, for $16 it had a fair bit of value in it!

I usually check out the bombers page for that

Coaches - No Roos, no Goodwin as far as I could tell, so it was mainly left to Rawlings, Matthews, Allison
Fitness staff - plenty, including D Cross. And I hate to be rude but a young lady seemed to be observing and she was a solid 9 to 9.5. By far best on track.
Players - see earlier posts. But Garland, Tommy Mc, Frost Bugg Tyson (are they 4th or 5th year?) plus the 1-4 players.
