At just $342,900, Ibbo looks great value this year. In 2013 he showed that he has premo potential.

Obviously he has been ravaged by injury in the past including a lingering achilles injury last year.

I have a few questions that are mainly aimed at Freo fans:

- How he is tracking this pre-season?
- What is his likely role this year?
- Is he definitely in the best 22?
- Is he looking likely to play round 1?

Thanks in advance.

I cant answer all those questions you have, but Ibbo has only played 1 full season in his entire career, and when he came back last year if I recall correctly he wasn't playing the same rebounding role he played in 2013. Duffield and the likes where doing that

He would be in ross lyon's best 22, as lyon has played him in previous seasons no idea where. you'd have to watch his nab

His role will be sitting on the bench wearing red with his arm hanging out of the socket.

As long as this is the case, Ibbo's not gonna be in my team.

Ibbo has gone 51, 85, 88, 102, 71, 95 this year for an average of 82. Started at 342k and should be around 408k after this week.

Could he potentially be a keeper?

And if you are one of the 11.6% that own him, what are your plans for him?

Ricochet

I'm keeping him. Will be up and down all year but will be a fine D6

Great to hear Rico, I'll probably do the same. Would be good if he could push a 90 average.

jfitty

I don't have him, but would definitely keep him, looks good enough for D5-D6

With the way things are going to down back anyone that started him would surely keep him for the foreseeable future

Probably the last person you would upgrade, or potentially be your D6 all year

devize

Pretty good scores for the past 5 games, happy enough with picking him. He'll stay.

If Ross puts him back into the tagging role at any time, there goes the good scores.
