Draft 2 people giving me shower about drafting demons...

Yet average the 2nd most out of the Draft 2 teams  :P
I don't mind your team, but I think the problem you will have is when (sorry) Melbourne gets absolutely flogged by some of the better teams. I see that happening less frequently this year though.

Yeah... I have that problem in Worlds too lol

But I did make a preliminary final with 5 demons playing for me, IN 2013!  :P

how were the team pools allocated ftr? was it random?

I selected the Team Pools based on total SC points its players scored last year (for the rounds, excluding finals).

Those pools then randomly given to one of the 6 drafts.

mmm, for future reference, could it work better to break it down into like categorical tiers? Like a players with a 110+ average gets a 10, 100+ gets a 9, etc. etc. and then use the total or something? Would avoid like discrepancies from a team having a couple of super high averaging players, then a lot of shower players :P

Agree man. Gonna be really hard to compete with teams without a 105+ player when they have a 120+. Starting only 5 isn't deep enough to even it out

Draft 2 needs compensation for having a weak draft.  :P

Only one team from draft 2 isn't it the bottom 2 for their region and it's actually Purps' 4/5 Tasmanian team.  :o

We will keep track on how the teams go throughout the year :) Think you'll be surprised, all the analysis up there is done on the assumption of no injuries... that will really show what was the weak/strong draft

Haha, I was having a laugh.  :P

I'm pretty confident that my team will perform better than nrich's tally showed but after V League, nothing's a sure thing.

6. UK

I did draft a little young and it shows in my score average (5 players) I drafted 3 fairly good young players in looking towards the future, current averages were not much of an issue for me it was more the potential of the player.

Im thinking there is some improvement in averages for these 5 players ?

Dyson Heppell - 106
Isaac Smith - 91
Bradley Hill - 75 ..Started the year very well, first 7 games .. 96, 105, 90, 113, 112, 75, 94 ..did okay in finals (102,79,98)
Will Langford - 73 ..scored two 100's in his last games... Prelim(113),Grand final(111)
Jonathan Giles - 73  .. Will be Bombers No1 ruckman next year imo
