Karnezis is not in the pies best 22... Varcoe coming over ruined that for him

He's not in their best 30. If you can't run, you can't play and PK can only beat the rucks in time trials.

Rucks generally do well in TT's... lol? He still sucks either way. so yeah

Grundy last, Cox 2nd last, then Dwyer and PK. Scharenberg beat them.

Jack - Who is he? lol

Bjack from Sydney? Gun mate. That's who he is. Burning it up at training in Sydney. Should play a bit more this year.

Sydney just has too many players who score heavily players 19,20,21 and the sub are generally the same players and Jack I think is still one of the I'll be stay right away

Looking at the cheaper forwards, I'd like to get some input on a few of them, plus give my 2c on some of them

Jeff Garlett - Can we consider this guy? He was in Mick's bad books last year, but his previous 3-4 seasons he averaged mid 70's. He isn't going to set the world on fire and score huge, but I would think he has really good JS, and at 260k if he can average 70 he should make about 150k. Is his cash generation and JS enough to make him a good pick?

Brent Staker - This guy seems to get injured a lot which is a big concern, but when fit and playing he can score well. At 246k if he is fit and lines up Rd1 is he worth a shot? Will score better than Garlett and make even more money

Nathan Vardy - Similar to Staker he seems to get injured a lot, but if he lines up Rd1 is he a worthy pick for 220k?

Ben Reid - Same as Vardy

Christian Salem - Should hopefully get more and more chances and avoid the vest. If he is in Melbournes Best 22 each week is he worth starting at 185k?

Tim Membrey - I see him in quite a lot of teams and I'm not sure why. Don't know enough about him. Will he play every week and is he relevant for SC?

There are so many other guys too. Templeton, Sexton, Close, Kersten, Sylvia, Murdoch, Lennon, Blease, Kommer, Jack, White Tarrant, Karnezis, Harper, Newman, Laverde, Langford, Markworth, Goddard, Daniel and Krakeour

There are so many of them!

I'm seriously thinking about starting with just 3 premo forwards, then picking the best 5 from here to fil F4-8. They wont be huge scores, but if I pick the 5 who have great JS they will all make money and score like rookies allowing me to load up on all other lines

Would love to get input from everyone about all of these guys mentioned

Salem is definitely best 22 but I would think he is still a vest candidate this year.

Perhaps if he is named round 1 and not the sub then he'd be worth starting with.

Same, atm I have
Goddard Buddy Swan Saad Clark Hogan
Steele Lambert.

Nice RD, fair bit of value up front in 2015 if we can pull ourselves back from loading up on prem fwds. Money potentially could be used elsewhere if you are hating looking at a line in your team at the minute. It's an option im considering and funnelling that cash down back.

Jack Lonie from St Kilda is a little champ.

Was excellent in the TAC cup last year and IMO should play round one for the Saints if he goes well in the NAB games.

RaisyDaisy

I noticed him in your team AK. Just another one to add to the list

Surely we will have 5 cheap forwards to chose from come round 1? Really liking the idea of going something like Gray/Deledio, Buddy and Swan followed by 5 cheap guys

Problem is, if I go with this approach then I'd get rid of Bellchambers, which means I have no ruck cover and that's something I don't think I want at this stage, but will wait til NAB to see how everyone is looking

belcho to a rookie is a handy 150k+ which could turn a midprice backman into an out and out premo.

Hopefully a sub 150k ruckman is named

RaisyDaisy

I already have 4 premo backmen.

Downgrading Belcho to a cheaper forward would only really allow me to upgrade Leuey to a premo ruck, but then no cover

No shower it's like your in my head right now RD lol, agree with all of that and Bellchambers is my issue, for now he's out and going with a more reliable R1 and R2 which costs me more to stop me feeling to exposed from no having no cover. Im brave now see how im feeling as lockout Rnd1 approaches closing. :-\

Dayze

Gotta build ur team around where the rookies with JS are. I agree on that.
But we do have that extra midfield spot where we can fit in a mid/ forward or two.

Been in a moon boot just before christmas apparently.

But do like as well, I personally liken him to Shannon Grant from the little I have seen.

Doesn't fill me with confidence considering it was his "good" leg
