If Waters lines up Rd1, which I expect he will, you have to pick him

Agree with the issues down back, probable lack of rookies etc his value is huge despite his willingness to break himself.

Is that the same with Whitex?

Yes

Yep, and if WhiteX doesn't get up, just downgrade him to Brown or a rookie. Brown wont score a lot, but at least if fit he will play every week (until he gets injured lol)

What's the chance of him playing round one?

Hawthorn will be overly cautious with Whitecross.

I wouldn't expect him to play early. Probably will start the first few weeks at least in the VFL.

Whitecross did his ACL in 2013. He'll be cherry ripe for round 1. If he's not right to go after 18 months he should be put down.

Will you pick Whitecross if he is named on the bench in round 1? Hawks play on a Monday so we'll know if he made the 22 just before Collingwood play on Sat night. Bad luck if you're busy and can't swap them.

If he makes the cut but is then named as the substitute before the Hawks and Cats start you will only be able to rejig the players in your SC team from Geelong and Hawthorn since everyone else would have played by then. Rules him out for me unless I had Selwood and was happy to swap them to premo def + midprice midfielder from Geelong or Hawthorn. Langford + H.Taylor or Birchall (will need 20K in the bank) wouldn't be terrible if Whitecross wears green but not something I'd be keen on having to do.

Yeah I was thinking about that!
Only players I have from Geelong/Hawthorn are Selwood who will always play and then Read who won't play a game!

I dont think il be starting him.

Whitey could be a corrective trade for a roberton type

The_Captain

Only beau at this stage. If fully fit but..

blewy09

Seems like Cavka is doing his best to push for games this season.

RaisyDaisy

Yep meow, at this stage if he is named I will pick him.

If he is the sub, then so be it, but I'll just cross that bridge if I get there

He was a steal in the draft for the Eagles.

Broke Masten's record in the 2k time trial. Going really well

Cannot see the value in cavka
If I was to select the team up to the 28th player, I would be surprised if he was even in it

If eagles were to play this week waters would be in the starting 18 ... Great news for our backlines
