I would have Daniel over lambert as a fwd rookie but I have to say that looks like a complete team.
BIG fan of Lumumba this year too...at that price.

Nice job.

Don't judge team in rookies... Purely nab cup decident...!

Good to see Goldy in ther HIB!!! Juicy team!

Personally Belly to Jmart ;) but who cares you're team is a cracker

All right guys, thanks for all your input!! I've decided on my final team until the NAB Cup. I just haven't liked the look of any of my teams since this one:

DEF: Shaw, Hibberd, Hurn, Newnes, Waters, Dick, (Wigg, McKenzie)

MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Kennedy, Ward, Biggs, Heeney, Boekhurst, (Vandenburg, Freeman, Dumont)

RUC: Naitanui, Kreuzer, (Read)

FWD: Deledio, Goddard, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark, Hogan, (Steele, Lambert)

Remaining Salary: $11,300.

A few footnotes: I feel like Bennell is ready to explode, and it's a shame I can't fit in Goldy, but I've concluded I like the Ablett/Kreuzer combination more than the Bennell/Goldy (via a DPP rookie, of course).

Waters and a rookie at D6? Well, I'd love it if 3 rookies appeared. If not, Hurn to Lumumba, Deledio to Dusty (or even BJ to Buddy), Dick to WhiteX, and Waters to Macmillan if his body just isn't right. So I have a DEF contingency plan in place.

Most of the MID/FWD rookies look good for games. I'm sure a couple more will pop up. Steele's probably the least likely at this point, but Krak and Daniel are sounding like they're doing well. I'm not fussed, NAB will sort it out. Biggs can go to NVB, I'll watch them both closely.

The only way I won't start Bellchambers is if Nankervis (or someone else) lines up round 1. If that's the case, I may consider downgrading him and upgrading Kreuz back to Goldy. Belly+Kreuz is more likely though.

Overall, I'm happy. I count 13 premiums there, including 5 of the top 7 mids IMO.

Can't wait for NAB and then round 1, lucky we have an ICC World Cup to keep busy! ;)

More opinions are always welcome and appreciated. Cheers!

This team is perfect :)
Only small tiny problem is Waters wont play early and you are probably going to have to re structure your team to get another player in ???
Would love your thoughts on mine.

All right guys, long time no post! I've been largely settled on my team, except for 3 positions. D5/6: really pends how the rookies play out. Not a fan of any other mid-pricers, but not a fan of 5 DEF premos either. M1/5: To Ablett or Not to Ablett? Any cheaper guys worth taking, mid-pricers, or go with 4 on-field rookies? That seems a bit thin. R2/F4: Would love a Goldy/Belly combo, but can't afford it without sacrificing the first 2 areas. Have toyed with swinging Belly to R2 (I'll upgrade a forward to a R2 later and keep Belly as F/R cover). This let's me bring in an extra forward premo, mid-pricer or rookie, depending on what I do elsewhere.

Would really love to see the combinations you can come up with to finish this team:

DEF: Shaw, Hibberd, Newnes, Lumumba, Macmillan, _______?, (Brown, Saad)

MID: Pendlebury, Selwood, Kennedy, Ward, _______?, Newton, Cockatoo, Anderson, (Heeney, Amon, Miller)

RUC: Naitanui, Bellchambers, (Read)

FWD: Goddard, Martin, Swan, _______?, Salem, Clark, (Hogan, Lambert)

Remaining Salary: $1,165,700.

GO FOR IT! But please don't go changing the other players, premiums are locked in and rookies will change, unless it relates to the blank space selections. I'd like 14 premiums, but would settle for 13 if it includes Gaz. Thanks heaps in advance, look forward to seeing all your thoughts :)

If you bring in Fyfe and a rookie forward (lamb) you can upgrade Nicnat to Goldy and have 304,700 leftover for a defender. Maybe Jaksch at 264500?
If you keep Nicnat then you have 390800 for a defender which gives you a lot more options. Maybe KK or Ibbo.

These are the options I'd be looking at.

Bully

Hamling/McIntosh - 123k
Dangerfield - 567k
Buddy - 537k

= 1227

You could achieve this by downgrading Newton to Ellis-Yolmen who should be a lock in your side

Good thoughts here but see Bennell as better starter and trade up to Franklin later.   Then go for Lews instead of Dangerfield

Sydney have an appetizing draw early, I think Buddy needs to be picked up early to cash in (particularly the prospect of an Essendon reserves side in round 1)

Yeah BJ to Buddy is an obvious if the Bombers are guilty.

And thanks for all your suggestions guys. I'll see how some of those look!!
