The most annoying thing about Cotchin in terms of SC scoring is that he kicks short far too much. He averages 100 in DT and his contested possession % is good so he should be averaging 110+, but he gets too many +6 DT points that will net him 3 in SC since he gets them in non-dangerous areas between the arcs and does pretty much nothing with them. Doesn't mind a clanger either.

You mean the kick it 5m, receive the hand pass before shanking it to the opposition play? Seagull that butchers the ball does not mean good things in SC

I would really find the extra coin to bring in a real super premo or just go a sub 250k guy.

Decided not to go with either because I can get Ward/Sloane/Kennedy/Watson/Heppel for 50k
I think I am going to choose Ward out of the lot as he was the best pick trade I made last year and doesn't have the dreaded round 12 bye.

The inclusion of Miles to the midfield was huge for him too. Was being made to do too much earlier in the season

Obviously not immediately but it was obvious the difference Miles made to the midfield as the season went on.
Hence the reason Cotchin started scoring better in the back 3rd of the year

The last 3rd, as in the last 7 or 8 games when he averaged 96.5 or 101? Miles made no difference.
