Profile

Hartung benefited from Hawthorn's mid season injury crisis, playing from Rounds 7-12 before getting injured himself then adding a couple more games near the end of the season. He started in the green vest for his debut game but came on early and smashed out 105. He continued to be vested for all but one game but showed he could gather plenty of the ball quickly, especially in Round 23 vs Collingwood where he scored 50 points in a quarter. Obviously it's difficult to see him cementing a spot at this stage (and avoiding the vest if he does) but the potential is there to average mid 60's and beyond which is well below what he is priced at.

Pros - Already shown he can go 100+

Cons - Job security, vests, low tackle numbers

Clearly a decent scorer and might hold a reasonable price due to some of those sub affected scores. Probably not for me, but will depend a bit on how the cards fall with trades and drafting.

If only he was at a club without so much midfield depth haha. He has already shown his ball wining ability and is very capable of averaging well later in his career. However at the Hawks JS and Vests will hurt him.

Green vests are an issue but I think Simpkin, Anderson, O'Rourke and Woodward are also suited to that role. If he can get ahead of those guys in the pecking order then he might be able to hold his spot for a while and get full games.
