The Priest

Is he ready for a break out year? or will hawthorn use him as a tagger?

His NAB scores were 94, 91 and 96.

In his last two finals last year he has 111 and 113.

Priced at $393,700, will he go up to around 500 and then maybe an upgrade to a premium, can he be a premium?

shaker

His scores look good but an awkward price for say a M5 got caught with Liam Shiels last year where he made very little or no money in the first part of the season then got injured , not for me .

I was on Jackson Macrae from the start last year - I like speculative picks - and like Langford - whether I will pick him or Neale is what I'm weighing up at the moment.

The Priest

I think Lauchie Neale is a no brainer.

tor01doc

Heath Shaw has proven he is a no brainer, but I am picking him anyway.

Haha... in fine form as always doc.

At 393k Langford needs to average 101+ just to make you 150k.

Can't see that happening

The Priest

You clearly don't know what 'no brainer' means or what I meant by it.

It means picking Lauchie Neale requires no mental effort, he is a lock.

Heath shaw also a lock.

I think Langford can average 101.

Think you read his post verbatim Priest.

Pretty sure he meant Shaw doesn't use his brain "no brainer"

Jordan Lewis was the only Hawk to average over 100 last year, I cant see that changing

Fair enough, but what makes you think that?

I can't find a good reason for him to increase his average that much

I think Smitch will go 100 again.
Gibbo could at a push, but seriously dependant on his roll with all their talls (I don't think he will).
I wouldn't back Langford in for 100+
