Rico, you sound defensive about this, and I don't know why

I don't want him and I've expressed why. If you want him then get him :)

There is no right or wrong
Ha nah I'm not being defensive man, and thats fine if you don't want him. I was responding to your comment "As I suspected, he wont be good enough for a mid spot this year".  People on here looking for advice need to understand why he has been down. So I'm clarifying why his scores have been what they have been. I don't like when people rule out players when they don't fully understand why they've been down, especially one so proven like Barlow.

Do you guys think it's wise to fill up your midfield with these fallen premiums? Or should we be looking to fork out for dudes like Armitage, Hanners, Mundy, etc?

I currently have Fyfe, Pendlebury, JPK and Lewis, and am looking to bring in Rockliff, Selwood and Sloane, all at bargain basement price.

This is possibly the least I'll ever spend on a fully upgraded midfield (will leave a spot for Ablett), but I'm a bit nervous that these guys may not completely turn their form around.

how many points do you think armitage etc will outscore these fallens by? I dont think much if anything. so the chance to get premos and quality premos in at bargain price means you can upgrade everywhere faster. seems silly not to take advantage of it. and when you add the lack of real decent downgrade options, is it worth the extra downgrade to get in Hanners over Rockliff or Selwood?

is it time to jump on the buddy train to complete f6 or wait for bartel to come back and bottom out?

bennel, swan, dusty, titch, gray so far

Ziebell looks awfully tempting at 434k and mid/fwd. Injured affected first score then has bounced back with an 89,90,10 and 150 from memory.

I'm tempted but it gives me 4 r12 bye forwards - Same with you I think

Might do it anyway

I think I like him more than Stevie J.  Seems like a fun player to have in your team.  Mighty tempted.  Averaging over 100 taking out the subbed game.

Got him 2 weeks ago. He could have gotten a much higher score on the wkend if his fwds marked more of his clearances that he throws on the boot. Heaps of times their defenders just outread them. North forwards were shocking in that regard on the weekend

Ziebell has always had the potential to be a SC gun but consistency always lets him down.
Not sure that will change.  Might be a fun ride though.

Sure there is more risk with Ziebell and he is more unproven. But minus the injury score he looks consistant this year with capable of going big and plays in a winning side.
Also to DPP factor.
SJ likely to avg say 105 for history sake so not a top 8 mid.
At least Ziebell could be a M9 or F7 and come in real handy floating between lines later in season.
