Really good side, gone with the more steady backline which il prob wish I had done come R3. Like Murphy as a POD. I can see the appeal in the 5 prem backline but does put more pressure to nail those picks so that your not chasing the best defenders mid year. This year though not much will probably split the number 1 defender and the 20th ranked defender.

Good premium selections, well balanced team with ruck cover also. Can't fault it.

Just slightly off but still on topic, Walker is around that price, as a blues fan do you know where he is at and/or what his role will look like? Because he could have real upside if he hits form

Injured and doubtful to be ready for round 1. His knee is causing him issues and to think they sent him off for surgery early. I would avoid AW this year.

Agree, his knee is unfortunate and putting me off. Plus I picked him up 2 years ago after his awesome start and when he hit top price, only to see him fail to keep the scores going so slightly burnt. Plus not sure on his role this year..

Cheers mate. I just feel that the mid rookies will scor better than defender rooks so happy to start with only a 4 PREMO mid.

Very nice team mate,

The only fault I can maybe pick is your 4 starting rookie mids, could really burn you with vests and poor form unless your willing to burn a few trades in the early rounds to swap a couple of mid rookies, I think going with 3 mid rookies is risky but your going with 4

Blues Blues Blues

I can't stop playing with it!

Which set up is best? 4 PREMO mids and stronger rooks, or 5 premo mids and slightly weaker rooks?

TEAM 1
Def: Simpson, Shaw, Newnes, KOLODJASHNIJI, Geary, Macmillan (Goddard, Saad)
Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Beams, JPK, NEWTON, BIGGS, DEGOEY, LANG (Vandenberg, Lambert, Boekhorst)
Ruc: Goldy, NicNat (Cox)
Fwd: Buddy, Dusty, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark, Hogan (Karnesis, Steele)

TEAM 2
Def: Simpson, Shaw, Newnes, Geary, PEARCE, Macmillan (Goddard, Saad)
Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Beams, JPK, GRIFFEN, HEENEY, MILLER, KRAKOUR (Vandenberg, Lambert, Boekhorst)
Ruc: Goldy, NicNat (Cox)
Fwd: Buddy, Dusty, Swan, Bellchambers, Clark, Hogan (Karnesis, Steele)

Team 1 seems more responsible, but team 2 looks good with Griff at M5!!

You have alot of issues. If your starting Clark ; Bokehorst,  and Hamling . Re think

Ringo

Would just sit on both teams and wait for team announcements for Round 1.  I suspect your Round 1 team will be a mixture of the 2.

It is easy to get carried away with rooks in NAB cup and we have all fallen for it previously so wait for team announcement.

#22
Def: Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Lamumba, Geary, Saad (Goddard, Viojo-rainbow)
Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Beams, JPK, Newton, Cockatoo, Cripps, Vandenberg (Krakour, Miller, Lambert)

Mids are obviously weak - hopefully I pick the right rooks come round 1, but happy with overall balance.

Thoughts appreciated!

Although the mids are slightly weak you have made up for it with your other lines!
I actually cant fault this team mate!
well done :)

How are his mids weak?

Ridiculous comment when he has picked 4 super premos and the better rookies who will be the cash generators.

Love the rucks. Big spend, but have the cover as well.

But I agree that the side is pretty faultless.

Good looking Team BBB.    What do you of Cripps gettting a regular game not vested.   Also can someone convince why I need to put Swan back in my team.   I have Bont at the moment?  As I see bugger all difference and more upside to Bont.

Great side here mate!
Would love your thoughts on Bewick as I know nothing about him!

Also would love your thoughts on mine!
