I think the various points of view in this discussion illistrate the problems opposition coaches will have deciding who to tag very well.

I actually think the tag(s) given to Brisbane players will be a fluid situation that will depend on varying factors (form, history, ground, state of the game etc), but it all adds up to one thing........Brisbane's midfield will be a potent weapon, possibly the best in the league.
Yep, I agree.

With Beams and Hanley in my Worlds side, just gotta hope they both avoid the tag.  :P

On a side note, looking at all those names listed for Brisbane, I can't see Dayne playing too many games with his brother. Claye won't get a game!

Ringo

Tend to agree Bones - They may get games in the NEAFL together if injury strikes.

It may be just what Claye needs to lift. The biggest worry for Brisbane is who will the mids kick it to? I can't see a 50 goal forward.

I don't think many Lions fans are worried as we know where we're at right now. We're still a very young team, and have young forwards developing in Close, Freeman, McStay, etc. Obviously they're not 50 goal a year forwards, but I'm confident that one of them will be in the next few years, which is around the time we'll peak. And we'll still have the exact same midfield one would think to kick it to 'em ;)

Freeman will be a 50 goal forward one day  ;) Close will be a handy 2nd for him and McStay is a flat out gun.
