CARLTON superstar Chris Judd will play on next year after aborting retirement plans.

The Herald Sun can reveal Judd had decided to walk away from the game, but a return to form and fitness and the Blues' upswing in form has seen him change his mind.

Judd, who turns 31 next month, will declare his intentions to continue into a 14th season on Fox Footy's On The Couch program tonight.

Trust his body holds out. So much harder these days and trust he does not have to do a Simon Black and others and retire mid season due to injury problems.

This is some of the best news for carlton and for us the supporters well for me anyway, i thought he was going to retire for shore and from all accounts he had made his mind up to finish.
