Just looking for some opinions!

Pav & Gray

ROK & Hall

Lockyer & Gray

MA19

Forgot to add that I'm currently going with Lockyer and Robbie.

mEnty

Well..I think option 3 is the worst. I don't see Lockyer being a great pick.

Got room for Gray and ROK?

or Gray and Hall and use the extra cash elsewhere

MA19

Yeah mate, just made room for ROK and Gray... traded some of the bench options down to Silvagni, Moles and Podsiadly... made room, and gave me some cap space!

Cheers for the help.

mEnty

Sounds good. Maybe consider a different cheap mid; with the dogs impressive midfielder moles might struggle for job security.

No Hall? Haha even if he gets a life ban for knocking 4 or 5 guys out in round 3 you will make cash.

Get him. Whats your current lineup out of interest?

MA19

Defenders
Enright, Fisher, Hodge, Shaw, Malceski, Kennelly, Hunt â€" Davis, Silvagni

Midfield
Bartel, Gibbs, Watson, Ebert, Masten, Martin â€" Barlow, Moles

Ruck
Sandilands, Seaby â€" Warnock, Lobbe

Forward
Riewoldt, O’Keefe, Giansiracusa, Gray, Ziebell, Ballantyne, Dangerfield â€" Rockliff, Podsiadly

+ $7,600

I'm well aware Hall will make money, but he will also be inconsistent as all KPP are. Gray is on the rise and is much more consistent.

I have money to upgrade Moles to someone around the $89,000 mark... perhaps Bastinac?

Major problem in your back line
Fisher out for 4 weeks
davis and silvagni on the bench - neither will play lots of games this year
and silvagni is still a rookie
Malceski, Kennelly and Hunt - all 3 have the potential???? to do well but 1 was running around in Ireland for a year and the other two have come back from injuries.
It might work out but you could end up with 3 donuts at some stage of the season. I would not take the gamble and change it around a bit

So Fisher is out for 4 weeks... I knew he was injured in the NAB final, didn't realise it was that serious. I'll trade him, Carazzo at the moment... any better suggestions? Bock perhaps, he carved a few NAB Challenge games, they're raving about him in the Adelaide papers.

A lot of people are taking a punt on Malceski, Kennelly and Hunt (throw in greenwood and ladson), I'm willing to do so. Basically my aim is to make money off them.

Davis will play a bit, here and there... there's not a lot of potential in the rookie backs... Silvagni should be elevated., but I'm not sure. Who do you have as your back benches, antoc?

thanks for your help  :)

Another question,

Is it worth trading Masten down for a rookie midfielder (perhaps Trengove) to create money for a premium back?

antonc

I think greenwood might be a better choice. He will go into the midfield a bit. Maybe change him for kennelly - R.Shaw will get most of the ball when all of Malc Kennel and shaw are playing with kennelly prob not getting more then 40 -50 points/ game (imo). I can see shaw getting 80-90 and Malc anywere from 50 - 90 (av 70)

I have the goose and silvagni on my back bench
The goose will play most of the year, although I don't think he'll be a high scorer, but will be there just in case and he is cheap.
Silvagni is a cash cow (still on the rookie list , but might get up for a LTI)
and I hope he'll get at least his 3-6 games early in the season. Only needs to av about 45 to go up 100k.

I have 6 prems and one of waters or hunt in the backline (yet to decide which one)
Hope this helps

Good luck
